ah, i think what it is.. or seems to be.. if the needle is at the very start of the record and you load a sample and play it, it auto puts it in absolute mode (skipable) where as if the needle is say in the middle of the record, it auto puts it into relative mode (unskippable) i think?!? i cant find an actual button or option to switch between the two

basically ive got a scratch sample, put it on to the tracktor deck, but when i scratch and the needle jumps a groove it jumps to silence. i need to make it so if it jumps it lands in the same place on the sample making it unskippable. ive done it before, but cant for the life of me remember how or where the option to do this is! simple stuff im sure but searched google for an answer with no luck, maby someone here with traktor knowledge could point me in the right direction?

from what i remember, the pencil was always red or yellow in colour. 4H was way too thin for our household

anyone here have any problems with virgin's internet? we recently got the tivo and superhub upgrade. before we had the upgrade our internet was flawless, never cut out never went slow, was really good. since the superhub our internet has been shocking. its ment to be twice the speed it was before the upgrade but ours cuts out, goes slow, so slow u cant even watch a non hd clip on youtube.. its really getting on my tits. its not the area either, my sister lives round the corner from me and hers if fine. WTF branson sort it out mate. so yea.. anyone else on virgin had any similar problems?

basically ive got a load of records im considering selling so i can get my hands on traktor, but im unsure of a few things.. if i was to sell them singly.. how would i pack them so the buyer don't receive a snapped or damaged record after Royal Fail have had their hands on it? and also the cheapest way to pack them safely would be handy. where's the best place to sell them? ive been recommended discogs, but ive never used it, would it be better than the dreaded ebay? or maybe, should i sell them all in one go, collection only style? im guessing i would get less £ that way tho? could use some advice on this, as ive never sold any records before!

ok i see. the program sounds better than i thought it would be. this is interesting stuff. if done right, like you say with no impossible combos i think it would be quite popular and also a brilliant tool for learning. probably a lot harder and confusing to code than i was originally thinking, but might be worth having a crack at it. would take alot of time tho

i was thinking.. if i knew how the program worked and what exactly it did, maby it could be coded into a website rather than a program? i could probably do that, but i would need a look at, and understand how and what the program does.

yea unfortunately windows 7 i tried all the steps above, and then when opening the program it tells me i dont have directX.... but i do... how frustrating

yea that seems to be the installer.. it seems to install ok but then when you run the program, it wont open and a warning type box pops up n says.. "Component 'Comdlg32.ocx or one of its dependencies not correctly registered: a file is missing or invalid"
