I built my mate a computer a while back and the motherboard has just been fried in a recent thunder storm. He's asked me to find him a new motherboard, processor and memory for around £150 but I've paid almost no attention to what's going on in the hardware world for some time now, anyone got any recommendations? He mainly uses the machine for music and 2D/3D graphic design, and there is no need for onboard sound or graphics. Thanks in advance to anyone who has any advice.

I love my p&g fader but would like to try this one out. One of the best things about the p&g though is the fact you can replace parts cheaply rather than replacing the whole fader. I wander if this will be the case here, from the pics I doubt it

I don't believe I've found a bigger one than myself, I've got 2-20 (never managed to get hold of 1), the Rehydration of Violence LP and I think it's 31 and 33, never every heard the ones for 20 to 30, they never came into the local shop and I couldn't be arsed to hunt for them anymore. What other stuff do you like? Ever and Area 51 fan? What about Hardcore Mafia?

Tis true, I had to use one lately when I broke my P&G and actually got to quite like it. Dub-Se7en, I've got to ask, are actually a Deathchant fan or you just like the logo, I've got quite an evil collection of that stuff stashed away in a crate :48_48:
