Don't buy an MPC. Try Logic, try Reason, try Fruity Loops, try etc.

I love it. Feels a lot more streamlined and also looks better. It is a lot harder on my system, though.

To say something as general as a computer/operating system is 'wank' really is just a silly statement. I may be a die-hard OSX (I don't care what hardware I use it on) user, but my usage of it has nothing to do with Windows/Linux/*... it does what I need it to do in a way that works for me, so why would I ever need to bash the opposite?

That made me chuckle Reaktor is by far one of the sickest programs I've ever used. Massive and FM8 are a bit clunky and bloated but produce some very nice sounds. Sonalksis makes a very good group of effects, as well as TC Works
