  1. This is a live set i did that i won a DJ competition in Preston with in March The set up was a bit shabby so juggles were out so did some cutting and needledropping and what have you. Had to mix up the set as "variety of styles" was one of the criteria, hence , the prodigy/macy gray/kano ish http://www.matt3r.co.uk/mixtape_details.aspx?Mix=6 T/L Yungun ft Mr Thing "Jacking for breaks" (white) Too Many Cooks ft. English "Scratchappella" (Left turn records) Dr Doom "No Chorus" (copasetick) Dead Prez "Hip hop" Adam F "Circles" Busta Rhymes "Break your neck" Mr Richie Kuts "Kutters Choice" (UK Turntablist) the Prodigy "smack my bitch up" Macy Gray "Sweet Baby" (8 Jam Remix) Kano "Don't dance like they used to" (Remix)

  4. i'm still tipping 16.5 which is techincially obese. i do play football twice a week go to the gym twice and play squash for a couple of hours so it is ocming off a bit. i feel like i'm on trisha the festival is near to preston bus station (once the largest in europe). from there, get a taxi to manchester airport, get a plane to prague, get a train to hradec kralove then a shuttle bus to the site. ill bill, guru, c2c, klashnekoff, ghost, sconeboy, krush, woody and oneself, adlib and his boys, rafik and others are all on, its sposed to be ill, goin tommoz.

  11. lots of people i know diss them.
  12. this looks good chap. not decided on what's happening that weekend cos its my first weekend off for a few.. camping in cumbria sounds a good craic though
  13. And shiny sparkly spangly emo RAZR spinner-rims on the bling scale. On 12's, looks-wise they're hotter than dangling your cock in a toaster. I know that shouldn't count for anything, but it all adds to the frankly hollow pleasure of dropping a whole days wages on a tiny fragment of synthetic diamond super-glued to a tube of metal <{POST_SNAPBACK}> its not been hollow, i'm such a meany that investement was well overdue and i'm well chuffed in them; not only is the frequency range second to none but for you hundred or so quid you get a pair of headhsells, carts needles and a protective case. if you bought 44-7's carts & needles, which are still the best for holding the groove and not twatting your vinyls, plus a case for them, headshells, you'd be looking at a similar price don't you think? plus you have to waste valuable scarcth time wiring them up!!
  14. i ues whitelabels. they are shit hot soundwise
  15. good work, team. keep it up
  16. no, they're gash. we had to use one a bit back and when you ran more than two channels through the crossfader deactivated. wack!

  19. I was going but I have an inta at half 9 tommorrow.. good luck rasp and everyone else
  20. I'm not sure when everything came out exactly, but around 1993 i bumped: Cypress HIll, Funkdoobiest, The Goats, Del, Tribe, De La, Black Sheep, Jungle Brothers, Gunshot, Krispy, Beatnuts, Wu-tang, Gravediggaz, Hiero, Mobb Deep, Keith Murray, Redman, Kurious Jorge, Ice Cube, Snoop, Gang Starr, the roots, heltah skelta / smiff n wessun, black moon, the pharcyde, Busta / LONS, Nas, Main Source, Masta Ace, hiphop will never be like that again, major labels with major talent on their rostas. up through to 96-97 was dope too.
  21. that's what i'm talkin bout I used to quickmix dnb for a while, dropping basslines/in and out, overlaying tracks. I still get excited about a good blend because it brings a unique edge to what you're doing, even better when its one you come up with mid-set.
