  1. any chance of recording audio & video??
  2. it took me forever to get a solid take. even though i came up 30 seconds short, i just went with it. i'm tempted to re-record, but may just move on to the next battle.. may keep the portable setup going for awhile now.
  3. https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PL7difSk8m4qph82wjrZtADUu81F3glu4V Pretty sure there's a few DV heads in this battle.
  4. This is funky... https://www.facebook.com/djsamiraandkayla/videos/1754694398144157/
  5. I bought mine from http://www.die-radiowerkstatt.de/riemen.html (also bought one in a slightly different size, but the one I described above works best) You can surely find a dealer in Your area (or on ebay). thank you. i think i will need to search more local.. what is the name of this type of belt?
  6. has anyone discovered out a belt replacement for the pt01/pt01 scratch?
  7. has anyone added a bracelet for better torque/control? i know the ultrapitch is sensitive at low levels but my platter rotation just doesn't feel as strong. adding the bracelet definitely stretches the belt, so i'm being cautious before trying...
  8. not recently, but everything has usually gone smoothly with ordering. i believe they were the first international scratch record order i placed. Not much communication, but followed through.
  9. i love the Apogee Duet.. its at the top of my list.. but thats a lot of cheese for a soundcard at the moment. I could buy another mixer for that price.. I'm digging the price of the behringer. I used to have an M-audio that worked pretty well... Dont know too much about the RME or MOTU...
  10. Can anyone recommend an affordable soundcard for mac? Been out the game for awhile and I feel like I'm looking at the same audio devices I looked at 5 years ago.. Looking for something to record with and stream with. Not looking for the best. Not looking to break the bank. Something simple would suffice. Surely theres a diamond in the rough out there, yeah?
  11. i think the 7s are more fitting for a portable, but thats me. You can definitely shred with a 7' on a normal turntable. It's pretty fun, and good practice for getting precise with your cuts. 7s, to me, these days, are collector's items. The 3 pack is on my purchase list along with some others. I have the 3 12s which are nice, but since CNP, TTW, TSL have come out with several releases since then, I forget to pick em up. They need to make Volume 4.. sheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeIT!
  12. im not hip to the tinychat rooms. sounds like a blast tho.. and sounds like complete chaos!!! (who goes next? how many bars? WTF?)
  13. megadjcenter.com has the 3 pack of 7s and the 10 inch release
  14. I haven't posted a scratch video in awhile. I need to set up my cam(s) and go to town, but I guess I have the "red light" fear when I start recording. When recording, I always feel my cuts are repetitive, nothing is really "ground breaking." Sure it's fun.. but is it post worthy? What is post worthy when it comes to cutting? There's a lot of scratch videos popping up on my news feeds and, quite frankly, thats whats gives me the confidence to post as it seems like everyone else is mindlessly (not in a bad way) cutting and recording. Is that entertaining for fellow scratchers? When should you post a scratch video? To me, seeing other videos makes me want to post videos. Like a constant on-going Q&A.. Some videos make me cringe.. But they're having fun.. And at least they posted something right!?
  15. I find myself asking this before buying scratch records these days. Theres so many... It's awesome! .. and yet.. a bit redundant? There's scratch records everywhere! Seems like every week there's a new scratch record.
  16. the more i read about this, the less silly i find it to be.
