  1. The Pioneer 707 is dope too, and you can find used one for cheap. It's a great mixer all around, plus it's awesome for cuttin', and the overall sound and build quality is solid. I really liked the fader, even more so than the 56. It's definitely a slept on mixer.
  2. Dude, this is tough. F'n dope. Would really love a cut over that.
  3. Dope, especially that Heat beat. Thanks.
  4. Oh yeah, I've had my best recordings right after waking up, too. Seems like there's less stuff in my head and body, essentially disconnecting me a little from the experience.
  5. I use to skratch in the mornings consistently. It's an awesome way to start your day, especially if you have really good sessions. Get a full hour if you can, half hour may not 'cut' it. Haha.
  6. Must have been dope, broke. PE is one of my favorite groups, especially their early ish (Nation of Millions, Fear of a Black Planet, and '91), but have never seen them.
  7. Definitely Beastie Boys at Red Rocks, 2007, and Electric Skychurch at Mishawaka, both in Colorado. Two best nights of my life, time just stopped...was so in the moment. I love live shows.
  8. Daym, kids in America are well good! I sweat it's all old fella who are good at skating in UK! Yeah they are. There's some really good old guys at that skatepark, too. The two oldest dudes there, 47 and 50, are leaps and bounds better than most there. That was my main spot, love that place.
  9. Oh F' yeah Vekked, you da man. Damn, you gotta be stoked!!! Hope you have a good time over there, but something tells me you already are...
  10. Yeah, I'm really impressed with all the beats. Serious sickness comin' outta this board. I only picked Backtrack's 'cause it was more conducive to cutting, but other than that, they were all dope.
  11. Damn, those are some serious injuries. I really need to start wearing pads, but every time I do, I take them off after a couple runs 'cause they're just uncomfortable and awkward. I'm turning 43 next month, so it's probably a good thing to get used to 'em. Thread derail in progress. Sorry...
  12. And from what I've seen, the quality of American skateparks is superb. The outdoor concrete parks are usually spotless, which I like. Yeah, I'm in California and the skaters here are pretty good, I think they're substantially better in Colorado though. And yeah, the concrete parks here are pretty much spotless. There are plenty around here and most of 'em are free. I might have a skate tomorrow actually. Hopefully you get back on it bro, you know it's awesome.
