  4. Is that the Lewis Parker version of 'Wonderwall'? If so, please hook a brother up!
  5. Those two tracks ain't too bad dude! Besides them, A Millie, and Lollipop ('I' isn't on the LP) - the rest of 'Carter III' is gash.

  7. Bascially you if you're introducing yourself at the start of a night you just need to say 3 things: 1) Who you are 2) Where you are 3) What type of night it is If you're doing the whole shoutout/request thing - explain that in the intro. If you're DJ-ing all night, I'd say wait until the place is half busy before talking....Don't shout too lous, just be yourself.... You can do a call & response thing, say shit like 'new lil wayne' etc if you want...depends on what sort of DJ set you're doing.... I'm not the best on the mic, but the above seems to work for me....
  8. We did something like that back in '06.... Highlights: Cambian got drunk and pulled a fatty....Jon's mate fainted, Snuff and I had a conversation about delayed flares and my mate's car got clamped... We should do it again....lol
  9. Whoops! LOL sorry dude, like Diggla I didn't even see that!
  10. We should try and get some artwork sorted for both mixes, and put them out as a proper release online methinks....
  11. This game had better be good!
  12. Wow.... I really should upgrade to Audition from Cool Edit Pro! lol
  13. Cheers Steve, that looks like a pretty good deal to me! I'm most likely gonna make a purchase this week, my laptop's on its last innings and can't really hang about.... Regarding soundcards, I've been looking for something dope that's got RCA inputs for recording mixes into audition, that's going to give me a really good quality recording. The card on my laptop would only record what had been assigned to the left channel of a song (e.g. the rhythm guitar from an Arctic Monkeys song, but not the lead guitar or the bass which was on the right channel when played) So far I've found an external one - Terratec Aureon 7.1 FireWire. I really should bone up on my PC knowledge, shouldn't I? lol
  14. I've been using my really old crap PC laptop to record my mixtapes for the past couple of years...It's served it's purpose as it's now literally falling apart (it also records in mono too due to the shite soundcard onboard). I wanna get a decent PC desktop, but not sure which one to go for! All I need really is just the tower unit with decent RAM, a fast(ish) processor, and a good soundcard - something that'd store my music as backup, and also run ableton/cool edt with no problems. I've been told to check out the Dell XPS range, which seem pretty good. Any help would be dope! Cheers
  15. I'm down again.... Can I do 5 mins of sped up Nelly records?
  16. Was cool up until last year.... Carter 1 & 2 LPs were cool imo, as well as the verses on 'Make It Rain', 'Tell Me' etc.... But he's got way too arrogant - Check the Semtex interview, he goes off on one there.... He's even said 'fuck you' to all the mixtape DJs as well (check here) Really needs to lay off the codeine....
  17. You could sing it through your headphones.....In the key of D minor, preferably....
  18. Does anyone know if Netik's 'Payday' battle record is available as an MP3 or a WAV? I got It on wax, but wanted to re-arrange a few bits and pieces. I'd rather get a good quality MP3 or WAV, rather than rip it myself and end up with something tat sounds crap, ya gets meh? Any help would be totally awesome, dudes....
  19. Artist-wise...there's too many to mention, so I'll just list the genres that I'm into: Hip Hop (all aspects) R&B Grime Baltimore Electro/Fidget/Nu Disco House Bassline Dubstep D&B Reggae Rock There's other random downtempo/chilled things that I like as well - St. Germain for example. I've also recently got back into independent/underground Hip Hop too....
