Hey guys, I am using a version of Ableton Live Lite that came free with my Akai MPK49. Now it might be that I'm being totally stupid, well it probably is. Basically I've not used alot of ableton before. Mainly for just triggering loops to build up a track. That sort of thing. Decided I want to start getting to grips with recording and creating tracks in Ableton itself. Now heres the question, and before you ask I have read the manual and it doesnt seem to help me alot. I cant seem to get my keyboard to work. Basically the keyboards is being detected and showing a level on the midi track but nothing on the master. Any idea? I know its probably something really simple but help would be appreciated. Cheers Al

Hey guys, I'm the producer in a new music collective. Were mainly dealing with nu-jazz neo soul stuff but mixing it with a wide range of experimental dance musics including house/dubstep/breakbeat/electro and IDM. Very into broken beat stuff aswell. At the moment we consist of Myself[Producer], a bassist, a singer, a guitarist and a DJ. Still growing and always open to new people who fit in with our ideals. Basically we are looking to get a strong visual side to accompany the music in this collective hence the reason for this post. It was more along the lines of cracked programs not working on vista at all. Any truth in this?

basically I'm just looking into getting a new laptop. Its obviously impossible to find a new one without VIsta. I've heard worrying things about Vista re: cracked music programmes. Is this a problem anybody knows about? If so does anyone know a solution or is it best to just put XP on myself when I get it? Cheers

Hey there guys, I'm a mere newby to this site. Looks pretty happening on here though unlike a lot of forums these days. Basically I am looking for some producers who would be up for collaborating on some tunes. Basically I'm a hip-hop MC and I have stacks of lyrics some recorded some not.
