  1. Yeah, it is pretty dope I was using it ion beta but there were some bugs, like the mic not working properly in game and such. I havn't really tried it since but I'm going to give it another shot today.
  2. Im currently using the Focusrite Scarlett 2i2 and it really suites my needs as far as djing goes. I just need to find an app or some how configure it to have input 1 as left and input 2 as right channel with out using some sort of DAW. Im sure there is some application or in the windows settings but I have not looked to much into it.
  3. Yo eric thanks for the video... can you let me know the difference between the flares I can hear them but I cant pick up the differences on the video... I know at 0:04 you are just doing long babys with a flare in the middle But at 0:10 i cant tell what is making the flare sound sharper when you do the click.. is it a tear or something??
  4. I bought. Max Payne 3 Portal Pack Terreria Borderlands 2. Also if you have Borderlands 2 Terreria, or Awesomenauts feel free to send me a friend request. Butterpaws is my steam ID.
  5. For what its worth I think mine are good for listening purposes
  6. i had this exact problem too. but it was just latency settings. i first used serato in about 2005 but never had that problem - and at that point i pretty much only did chirps and crabs. then more recently, having not used searto for a couple of years the problem came back - but it was just latency settings like i said. traktor is abot the same id say, but it seems to struggle on lower spec laptops Thanks man im going to look into that... Didnt know they had latency settings and i thought i was just fucked
  7. I personally do not like cutting in Serato. When doing fast chirps i dunno if its the latency but i can never catch the backwards chirp. I thought it might be my technique but I can do them on vinyl just fine... It could be my setup or something though because I've seen people bust fast chirps on Serato.
  8. Ahh Steve I don't have wp installed anymore maybe a screen shot of all the template files?
  9. Goonie, If you take the derivative of the ttm's you will plot how fast the record is moving at that point in time. The example deft gives assumes a constant motion. For example a baby scratch might have a line with the equation 2x going forward and -2x going backward. This will just tell you you are moving at a rate of 2 in the forward direction and -2 in the negative direction. Post up your graphs and we can talk about it... I just dont see the practical application for quick sketches, I personally think it would confuse people.
  10. Goonie, If you are asking about how to transcribe to a TTM live i do believe it is possible. My senior project in EE had to deal with the time code signal, and giving users instructions on when to pitch up or pitch down in order to help them beat match. In my opinion you would not need Calculus to do what Deft is saying here is why... if you are using a Serato Time Coded vinly i believe they have a 1-khz sine wave, the sine wave on the left and right channels are offset by 90 degrees this allows you to determine weather or not the record is moving backwards or forwards. Anyways to get how fast the record is moving you would simply see how much it is offet by the 1khz sine wave. For example if the sine wave is at 2Khz you would know the record is moving twice as fast. To get if the record is moving forwards or back wards it is a bit more complex at least working the math part. I would like to contribute to a project like this and would help with coding, but I believe the hard part would be drawing straight lines and placing the clicks in areas where they should be. Since no one is going to be perfect
  11. That's pretty slick.... how well does steam work on Windows 8?
  12. Can I get a time people are usually in here I would like to get in on this?
  13. I agree with you as well. Some peoples scratches just sound boring and plain (like mine for example). But there is a file chilie posted with just chirps and transforms that sounds so damn dope i know I will never be able to do that my self.
  14. Ehh im out of town for the moment so i cant give my complete specs but here is what i do know Newest generation i5 processor 8Gb DDR3 RAM Gigabyte GTX 670 but I have windows 32 bit installed and cant use all of my 8gb of memory atm. I figured this out when BF3 kept crashing on me during multi player haha
  15. I have plenty of games ill poist a screen shot later. I had to un install a bunch of em though due to hd space on my ssd, what are your specs for your gaming machine Steve I'm kind of interested since I just built one myself.
  16. That dude dark psycho is shit... also how do i check the other videos that did not make it through?
  17. I honestly think stage fright is normal for most people, it just depends on how you react to it. Also when i watched your KOTD battle against jooce I could tell you were a bit nervous by looking at your fader hand and such.
  18. Its about time, Im def going to cop just need to set up paypal is it 20 bucks plus shipping?
  19. x = (70-(58.2*.04))/0.6 = 77.866666666666667
  20. I have an unraid NAS server, its the best for protecting against data loss. And I also use it to stream movies for my four htpcs throughout the house its great!
  21. damn that sounds dope as fuck... imma be practicing it...I like how odd numbered sounds sound on 4/4 timing because the placement of the sounds start to move around the beat.
