ive never got spam ever. i think i have a couple of gmail accounts that i use for registration at different sites but ive noticed that on some of the forums im visiting im seeing the same spam comments. is my computer infected or something?

oh yeah does a macbook come with a mouse?

i have to get a laptop for college and i though i might as well be cool and get a macbook. from looking at the different ones here http://store.apple.com/uk/browse/home/shop...ook?mco=MTE3MjE im already totally lost. like WTF is a "Double-layer SuperDrive". all i want it for is for surfing the net. writing documents and maybe doing some recording. i won't be putting any music software on it but if i decide to i'd like to be able to run ableton Live. but that's not even important. im assuming that iLife comes with every macbook? im just thinking of getting the cheapest one (for £699) and then putting some stickers on it to make it look unique. another reason why i want to get a macbook is because the college uses macs. ive never used a mac before ever. ive been standing next to one but ive never actually used one ever. the OS is basically the same as windows right? im not trying to start a mac vs PC thread or anything here. im just wondering is 699 good value for the macbook (im not getting the macbook pro because that screen is too big for me) or is it a total ripoff when you compare it to a laptop running windows with the same specs?

ok this is fairly obvious but i just "discovered" (there has to be a better word than that) it now. when you want to spell check then just right click after you've your message typed and click on "Check Spelling". then opera goes through all the words in your text for you there and you can see if you have any spelling errons.

i have an iPod with like 160GB or some shit on it but it's a pile of crap because ive only like 20GB of music on it. when i download shit from the net they just stay on my desktop until things get out of control and then i toss everything in a folder and i can never find them again. i think that causes some problems tho because lately ive been getting some shit like "iTunes cannot locate this file" and i just moved it from my desktop into a folder which is still on the desktop. i hate iTunes so much.

tbh the 360 kills the PS3 but for me personally i go with sony because i like the games coming out on that console more than the 360s lineup (even though it kills it in terms of variation). plus the 360 is ellza loud and sounds like a tumble dryer or something. how fast is my disk spinning in there? this is not cool. plus PS3 lets me install games ONCE with none of that compatibility shit you have with PCs and the control kicks the 360s ass (can't play GTA because i have the crappy xbox version).

vestax PMC05 with the FX send/return. LOL. no im sending the feedback single through my sp404 which also has an FX unit built in and i just borrowed a distort pedal so i want to send the signal from the sp404 into that now and just sample maybe 30 seconds into the MPC and then chop different sounds. i want to start building up a colletion of FX units tho. it's kind of hard to get the sound of the feedback "smoothed out" if you know what i mean as it usually sounds really harsh on the ears.
