Hmm would love one of these, but I've heard sound quality isn't great. It's around the same price as a C1 , I think I'd prefer this over a c1 tho. What would you guys go for if u had 3's burning a hole in your pocket ?

Getting to a scratch jam is a good start. Stage fright will disappear when you start to develop confidence and you can only do that by facing your fears and then assessing the thing you need to do to address those fears. Afriad of making mistakes in front of people - get in fornt of people that understand your situation and wont condem you for it. Afraid of using different mixers - use as many different mixers as you can, understand what it is that makes it different and how you should adjust to be more flexible. The more time you dedicate to face your fears, understand them and come up with techniques to cope in these situations the more the nerves will go. I really felt this when i entered the scratch battle in chicago, the format was a bit like a QnA so i closed my eyes, told myself its just like being at a jam and totally used that experience from a different scenario to my benefit. Some of the guys entering the battle against peers and in front of others had never had an experience outside of their bedroom and so unsurprisingly felt overwhelmed - they hadnt thought about how their narrow experience factored in to their performance.

PS. C&P sort out everyone that has received warped records. Most of the time they've been warped in transit, which really sucks but not the receivers fault. The only weird one was someone sold on a warped copy and mugged his mate off, his mate complained to us about the warp, which kinda left things awkward..

Looks like I've mugged myself off several times, definitely a few records I wish I'd returned.

I bought a new record and it's warped. In the past I've always sucked it up and accepted that's the nature of vinyl, however I do know people that have returned them and got refunds / replacements. I guess it doesn't hurt to try. Wondered what you guys typically do of you get a warped rec ?

If you just want to put out scratch records and not have to start a company, you could always putting your material out on an established label ... we get demo's now and again, but sadly people are still sampling from mp3/compressing the fuck out of samples and we havent been able to think about releasing anything until recently ....

Andy - it's a Pro A. The external power supply is working ok , i tested it with another 06. Schoolboy physics makes me think I should get a multimeter(?) And poke around, but I'm guessing I could short something n do more damage ?

I jacked the gain and master up to full and after 5/10 mins it powered off and won't power up. I'm a total noob at fixing stuff, but if anyone has the time to help / tips on where I should start , what equipment I might need to test / fix, would really appreciate it :-)
