  1. Then try the Presonus Inspire. It's only $150 in the US, so it's probably less than 400 pounds in the UK as well.
  2. Does it have to be USB? You can get a Presonus Inspire Firewire interface for pretty cheap, and it has pretty good sound quality. I don't trust USB audio interfaces...
  3. Thanks. What does scratch-esque mean?
  4. Thanks. Took me a bit of time to make and edit too. I don't see why...it's a pretty simple beat.
  5. Up on my MySpace http://www.myspace.com/djswayde
  6. Thanks, but I am trying to sell it already. I realized I can get better sounds (in my opinion) for the music I want to do from other analog synths such as the ARP Odyssey and Korg Minikorg 700s, and I can probably get a Frostwave Resonator which has the same External Signal Processor filter as the MS-20, which would be dope. I would also make at least a hundred bucks from selling it. In my opinion, the best thing about the MS-20 is its filter, not its sounds.
  7. Dope dude. I like that snare in the first one.
  8. lol, sorry. Thanks for the kind words though.
  9. The beautiful (and expensive) Korg MS-20 semi-modular analog synthesizer. And no, this isn't the Legacy MIDI controller. It's the real thing. As well as the Numark TTXs, which I replaced the 1200s with...definitely happy with my decision.
  10. Thanks, I will keep that in mind. How about Digital Performer? Do you have any experience with that?
  11. Wow, nice stuff man! Where you get the MS-20? Ebay? About the M-Audio ting, I've never had a problem with them, although the usb drivers for the trigger finger were a bit gash. Never had a problem with the soundcards though (I've owned a 24/96 and a delta 10/10). Motu gear is supposed to be good, I've never used an 896 but I have used an 828 and it worked fine. They are quite pricey though. Yeah the Macbooks look good, I wouldn't mind picking one up myself. My computer is literally on it's last legs. I think its burned out about 84 power supply's since I've had it. Thanks. I got the MS-20 off of eBay, yes. There was a pretty low Buy It Now ($1,250 after shipping, these things usually go for $1,600). But yeah, I'm pretty much set on the MOTU being my audio interface.
  12. Right now I have a Korg MS-20, but I eventually plan on getting an ARP Odyssey, a Sequential Circuits Prophet-5, and some other analog poly synth, I'm thinking of a Yamaha CS-50 or a Roland Jupiter-6 at the moment. And thanks for the suggestions, but I have had bad luck with M-Audio stuff and would rather pass on any other M-Audio gear. I have been looking at some Motu interfaces (the 896 looks cool), as well as the Apogee Duet, anyone got any experiences with those? I have also decided to get a Macbook instead of the Powerbook.
  13. Thanks, but I'm not a fan of CV and MIDI and all that. I like recording straight audio. Weird, I know. Anyways, I only need two inputs on the interface, as all my synths and and stuff are plugged into my Mackie studio mixer, and the outs of those would go into the soundcard.
  14. Hey guys. I am eventually getting a whole bunch of synths. Because they lack MIDI, I am going to record directly into an audio interface and put the samples into a DAW. I currently have a Windows laptop with FL Studio, but FL Studio sucks for samples and stuff in my opinion. Anyways, I plan on getting a Macbook and an audio interface (which I have not decided on as well). For the DAWs, I am deciding between Logic Pro, Pro Tools LE, and Digital Performer for now. What do you guys think I should get and why, and what interface should I get with it? Thanks. Also, for the interface, please keep in mind I am not exactly rich, so I'd like the interface to be quality, but not too expensive. Thanks again.
  15. Here is my top 3 ranked in preference: 1. Rane magnetic 2. Ecler Eternal 3. EB Pro X Fade
  16. That dude is not good. Ugh. I hate bitches who make comments like that. Yeah, you're fucking modest. Best DJ in Asia my ass. He's not even in Asia.
  17. Thanks. However, I have since figured it out. Thanks anyways!
  18. I didn't even think that was possible.
  19. Nice Solemn. Don't you use a Rhodes, or am I thinking of someone else? And what do you sequence with that JP-8000? Or do you sample the sounds from it? Anyways, smooth setup.
  20. Ho shit, a 56 and a 57SL!? High rollaaaaaaaa!!!!!!
  21. Did you order it direct from the Ruckazoid? if so you miiiight still need that MP3 Ps: Fuck serato. Nah, I got it from some website. I got the record. It's pretty tight. And I like Serato.
  22. Okay. I actually bought UPR4. So I no longer need it recorded. Thanks for the tip, Vekk.
