I have downloaded an AVI compressed video file and tried to play it on Media but I'm only getting volume, do I need to uncompress it using any software? if so what do I need?

I think that's a bit unrealistic, if you have any normal wear & tear then the paint near the xfader will be gone and you will struggle to get £175 for it...
