Here's mine. Had the Technics for years, got the mixer 6 months ago. Now want to get serato to expand record collection & to cut down on buying 2 of most records.

I thought it was ok man, don't hate your own efforts too much. Your timing was a little off in few places but I'm guessing that will come with more practice as in other places it was spot on. pz

Good post Steve, I take it this is the post you refer to on my "Media Help" topic. I'll give it a try.......

Managed to download version 1.5 and have managed to edit so that I get breaks every five mins (or so I thought) when i burned the cd it was 1 hr long mix with no tracks. My version doesn't have the "Split" option on the right click, just "insert cd tracker marker" or "insert cd index marker". I tried the cd tracker marker, which showed up fine on the display but something obviously went wrong when i tried to burn. Hmmmm

Ok, I'm whack at technical cpu stuff so apologies about this dumb question in adavnce. Q: I have downloaded the Coldkut mix which is 2hrs long on Windows Media & would like to burn it onto cd, but I can't as cd only has room for 80mins of music & the mix is 120mins long. How can i divide the mix into say 10 minute intervals without having the pause in traks that you would get on a normal cd? thanx

Thanx for posting that video man..however the video is playing at about 10 times faster than normal speed, has anyone else had this problem? I use Windows Media.

Can anyone post an idiot proof video of "delayed 2 click flares" the scratch sonds dope, but I just can't understand how it is done by listening alone, and it sounds complicated to explain. Cheers

Hey Dooban man, Yeh I first started mixing Old Skool D&B from 94, then started house in 96/7 then in 2001 stopped completely..Restarted on this scratch thing in 2004. What I focused on mainly when I played out was good record selection & Good quality mixing, but I always tried to vary my mixing techniques throughout a set....and this has been further enhanced by being able to scratch at a compentant level...hopefully getting better all the time.... What are you into Dooban?

I always seem to miss out on when DJ's such as Qbert / Jazzy Jeff / Cash / Spinbad come over to the Uk & perform...Can anyone recommend a website which lists when thses guys come over & play? pz

Not my cup of tea musically but the mix was solid stuff. I couldn't reallt notice the eq's either. Nice mix man....
