The thing is in an x-s8 considerably a lot better than a sk-6f cus im only usin tht cus my bros taken my 05. ( hes lives in london so i aint gettinit bak and it was mostly his neways). i dont kno much abt tascams either ?

Numark are bringing out a new mixer DXM?? neways it looks like sum darth vader ish and its the same as the ppdo1 but its got no sound effects and wot not ( for sum reason it costs more). I havent actually heard any bad things about the nu digital numark stuff, maybe sum 1 can correct me ? Ne ways the guy at the store was saying that the mixer has bin highly underestimated and tht it is a solid mixer.....

Im thinking of buying this mixer . I thrashed it today at HTFR and I liked it. Just wondering if anyones had any problems with them or whether they would recomend something else ( around tht price range)

DnB is goin thru a good patch i think. There are sum ruffneck tunes coming out i.e soundguy - subfocus Its all on me - TC Nature of The Beast - Drumsound and Bassline. There are a load of good tunes out (or coming out soon). If anything DnB has jus come out of a bad patch... the summer was ish for tunes. DnB has gone more towards a ragga kind of dub style now and I think its expanding...

I just mix d n b plus i do the scratching too . i dont think ive ever attempted mixin hip hop...

Just wondering wot other types of music people dj in on the board? do most mix jus hip hop or something else too?

I duno about this idea but do u think this forum would kinda benefit from like an area where ppl can ask how to do certian scratches and that. I know it got annoying before on the stanton forum but im sure it wud appeal to many people. May even pull in a few new members!! Wot do u lot think ?

Yeh i agree with u there. I was using a vestax today and to me the cut in point was whack. I suppose im jus use to my focus fader. I love em.

Yeah... The djbattle.net tutorial gets me cus he does his techniques soo losely( i.e letting it flicker) im almost holdin my fader all time except for things like the crab etc.I think lightness with using the fader and the vinyl is not expressed enuff on these kind of sites. i generally think its a key thing....
