joeClockwork
After years of impulse buying and blind buying in record shops I've ended up with quite a few crap records. Or, to be fair, records that I liked at the time but don't like anymore and probably never will like. I'm sure this has happened to everyone so what do you do with all the shit records you've amassed? Do you keep them? Put them up on Discogs/eBay for peanuts? Take them to a car boot sale? Phology
I just take them back to charity shops, and probably end up buying more while im there. The never ending cycle! The way i look at it is it's all going to charity so i don't worry about not making any money back on shit records. As long as I've taken all the samples I want from them.

I do the same method as Phology, it's easy, simple and hassle free
joeClockwork
Ah, yes. I forgot about charity shops. Good point!
MadAbbott
i would just post them in a job lot on eBay, write things like "MPC" "samples" etc and say things like "stack of records for sampling" put a few ok ones at the front and people will inevitably bid for them! saying that my approach is to seemingly horde all my charity shop crap telling myself I'll sample that one day and drive my mrs mad!!
djdiggla
I give em away. the entire lot. No picking through and leaving me with the crap of the crap.

Chris
Mine go back to the charity shop when i run out of space or get round to it. I tend to keep everything I've sampled, though...
djmikec
I'm actually gonna make clocks out of some of them. all you need is a little battery-powered clock kit and a drill =)

Guest It'sPhilFromThursdays
Any record i don't want i either destory with my powerful mind rays or give them to charity shops, but i've only really done the latter so far. Or just hoarded them through laziness.
goldielocksnthethreebrares
They are banished from the ikea shelf to the floor.
Jam Burglar
I probably have 2 or 3 crates I could unload of stuff that is just really really bad. I'm just too lazy. I don't have the heart to throw them away so I like this charity shop idea.
danswift
I spend hours turning my unwanted records into highly prized objects d'art...like tiny plastic rocking horses or just scenes of everyday events for people from all walks of life to cherish and appreciate. Guest Psychedelic Schizophrenic
The only shite records I keep are the ones with drum breaks on, you never can have enough breaks
