Steve Posted April 19, 2005 Author Share Posted April 19, 2005 I just tried it on a mix and it said 118.50. The mix speeds up and slows down though, so I guess it must take some kind of average. As it does so, it will automatically update the BPM tag in the music file with the correct information. (Note that WAV files do not contain tags, so while BPM Analyzer can calculate the correct BPM, it cannot insert that information back into a WAV file.)
