djnumnuts
I have a synology nas drive and trying to get my head around installing the apps in docker and its far from intuitive on how to install an image. And the help on Reddit isn't that great.
Steve
I know nothing about it, but have you seen/tried this?..... https://www.smarthomebeginner.com/install-sonarr-using-docker/
neks
I have Mylar set up with Nzbget using Docker on my Syno DS218+. I was having issues with the ports at first but it's good now except I haven't set up any post-processing scripts this time (I used to have them on my previous NAS)What's the issue?
djnumnuts
Hi necks, Got the VPN PIA image running but want to run the command to do an IP check, so I know its working and doing its job. Here is the image link https://hub.docker.com/r/qmcgaw/private-internet-access/ and the command isdocker run --rm --network=container:pia alpine:3.10 wget -qO- https://ipinfo.iodone Ctrl A copy and paste, also tried docker run hello world. Basiclly how do you run any command in the terminal window?
neks
I'm not exactly sure how to do that but I think you need to open a shell within the container that is running the PIA image and execute your commands there or you need to send the command to the container directly with docker exec -it <container id> <command>I.e.: docker exec -it <container_id_or_name> echo "Hello from container!" or docker exec -it <container_id_or_name> bash then type your command since you should be able to interact from within your container at that point
