Guest Symatic
here's some of the samples on Moschops' new 7" version of Skratch Fossils... Firstly - this thing is LOUD. definately one of the chunkiest sounding 7" i've cut with, but without sounding over compressed or over distorted.Moschops has re-worked the sounds paying a bit more attention to some content that would have been bonus material on the original 12", and even a couple of new bonus noises. Theres a side of133.33bpm samples, but not in the ultrapitch style, pretty much the opposite! Nice long sounds, some are full 360º noises that you can get scales out of if you chop em up right.... Some are half a turn, giving some nice QnA options.Moschop's mastering skills mean that these noises still work nice even at slow speeds. The other side starts at 83.33bpm and then switches to 99.99, so a 5 point pattern followed by a 3 point pattern, and you get some drums on this side too.Lock Tones on both sides, original artwork by Tops, perfectly aligned etches by Leighton Harris, and plenty of bonus material hidden among the skipless tracks. Also if anyone's wondering it's rated U Pre-orders are up now, it's expected to start shipping in a few weeks!www.cutandpasterecords.bigcartel.com
joeClockwork
Wicked cuts! Has he used any of the Easter eggs on the 12"? I'm sure I recognised one in there.
Guest Symatic
yeah its mostly rearranged stuff from the 12 but he used some unused bonus stuff and arranged it so a few of the hiden sounds would get a bit more of a focus
