Steve
http://i.imgur.com/kj1qjDd.jpg I copped one of these a couple of weeks ago. It's really good! It's small at only 21 x 11 x 29 centimetres. Power output is 2 x 32 Watts RMS, so plenty loud enough for my needs. It's got a few different inputs, a CD player, a USB input, plus it also has DAB+ and an ethernet port so you can hook it up to your network. Using either the remote control or a free smartphone app, you can stream music from your PC or phone. It also supports Internet radio, Spotify and Airplay. It supports various codecs, including FLAC and WAV up to 192KHz. The smartphone app is pretty good: - http://i.imgur.com/MtDRrQF.jpg Your phone/tablet shows up automatically under sources, then you can browse the content stored on the device: - http://i.imgur.com/XZxTZ0a.jpg Then when you choose an album/song to play it starts playing via the amp and you get a basic remote: - http://i.imgur.com/6GCRT3y.jpg You can also browse your music collection on your PC, either via the phone app or via the amp's own digital display. Overall I'm really impressed with it and it sounds fucking awesome too.
doppelkorn
Blimey Steve that looks really good. I'm trying to think of ways to incorporate this into my wireless setup and that ethernet port has given me some ideas. Does it have any bluetooth output functionality? Steve
It doesn't have any Bluetooth functionality. Your smartphone or tablet connects via Wi-Fi as long as the amp is on the same network (of course).
doppelkorn
Is the sound quality good? Are you selling your old amp?
Steve
The sound quality is great! I didn't have an amp before I bought this one. I had some powered speakers that are OK for a bedroom, but they're certainly not great. I'm trying to sell them for £80 on eBay (they cost about £160 I think), but I'm not getting any bites as yet.
