mickey_samboura
I'm havin serious problems with delay when usin skype. I was tryin to get a scratch with someboady last night and i couldn't hear myself. Today im testin it out and i'm gettin exactly the same stuff with somebody else. I have two soundcards: Audiophile 2496 and my standard soundmax one. I'm doin everything right with both. (I've just reverted back to my soundmax cause its uses the connections that are listed on the skype setup guide). Audio in and out are set to the appropriate soundcard in my Skype 'options' In my Sounds and Devices: My mic is muted in the play back (everything else is turned on and up) And my line-in is all that is selected in my sound recording. I'm goin: MIXER OUT to LINE-IN and im listenin to the sound BACK from the OUTPUT on the comp on a set of sexy philips headphones. I can hear the other person fine when they cut and even when i put a beat on (looped in Soundforge) and i can hear myself grand too. This is reversed when the other person puts a beat on. I then get the echo. And just there now my fuckin loop stopped playin and i can't get it to start again. I'm so pissed about this that i'm tempted to DDT my neighbours dog cause its fuckin barkin so loud into the bargain. I want to know EXACTLY how everyone else, who have no problems when Skyping, have the program set up. And if anyone can pinpoint whats up with mine from what i've mentioned well that would be just dandy. Peaze Nukkarinos
Guest Deeswift
Turntables / Sampler / Minidisc 1 > Mixer > PC Line or Aux In > PC Line Out > Minidisc deck 2 > Amp > Speakers > Ears. I also have the same problem you have when I cut with Ryan. Not sure if he got it sorted out yet, but if he did maybe he'll post here and let you know how he solved it. How about trying it just using the Windows mixer? Seems like your soundcard is complicating things a lot. EDIT: OK, ignore me, I spoke to Ryan via PM and he says you were both trying to sort it out together.
