Anyone know a good place to get a 1210 tonearm replaced?

This morning the shelf above my decks collapsed and a dictionary landed directly on one of my turntable's tonearms bending it. It still works with no needle skipping but it's now bent downwards and i imagine will be causing some hefty record burn. Does anyone know any services for getting the part replaced? I've found instructions on the net of how to do it myself but i know i'd fuck it up, I'm no electrician. The dictionary, however, escaped with minor injuries.

I'm based in the midlands, so anywhere nearby would be great.

I think you could be in a awkward situation with this problem, price-wise. I'm guessing a new tonearm will be a ton at least plus labour for fitting. I'm guessing labour at at least £30 an hour for an hour minimum. You could pick up a whole new table for under £200 and have a full set of spares. Plus if yours still technically works why not just pull the counterweight back to minimise record burn and you'd be rocking a 3 table setup!

I'm 99% sure it was these guys I used, they were really good. I had already taken one of my decks to a place that didn't manage to fix it properly, some of the electronics were blown (not just the fuses as I'd tried replacing them myself). These guys did it now problem and it was reasonably priced.

Apparently these guys do a lot of the repairs for shops in brum, going direct is a bit cheaper.

I've had some bad experiences with repair places so I'd always take your decksmo somewhere that's been recommended. My local place once sent me a deck back with the tonearms pulling hard in to the middle and it wasn't like that when I gave it to them.

When I took it back and showed them the problem, we compared it to some ofheir other decks and they did the same. It was only when we compared it to a new deck that they realised the it repair guy didn't know what he was doing and was basically calibrating tonearms wrongly when he was servicing turntables....
