Wax On
SO... my computer's plain and simply fucked. i've decided it's time to get a new one, I don't want to spend mad amounts of cash though, but i'm thinking "do i get a PC or convert to Mac and get a refurb?" has anyone got and recommendations in terms of good value but good spec PC's, or cheap mac refurbs? Help!

3D
Euro pc are good, I got a really good spec machine for a reallygood price. There dell refurbs I've had dell machines foryears now are they are really reliable and I use them for myCG animation work so it's pretty intense computing stuff. Only get a mac if you can afford all the software to put on it mate. They are great though. Hope this helps http://www.europc.co.uk
Wax On
cheers guys (apart from Matt) i thought it was pretty easy to get cracked software for mac these days? i'd be using cubase, or potentially pro tools m powered or logic...and ideally the odd vst instrument
gasface
hit up torrents for audio apps for mac, very easy to get. i'd go with mac if you're using it for audio primarily. i do keep my old pc running though for my downloading and old logic and all the vsts that aren't out for mac.
