IMO the best scratching on the Knitting Factory DVD is done by Ricci Rucker. Some amazing shit. Everyone on that DVD is really good though. Obviously he's about 100 times better than me, but he seems to do the same things all the time: - REALLY slow drags and two click flares. I like to see/hear scratching and not even know how the fuck it's done, yet it still sounds wicked. There are some cuts The Ruck does that are like that on this DVD. Dee was doing some cuts on Skype like that too. Most of the time when I listen to scratch music, the cuts are superb, but it's all stuff I've heard before. It's a shame Rucker does nearly all the drumming on Knitting Factory cos I'd have liked to hear more solo cuts - he doesn't seem bothered about doing them anymore cos they're for simpletons or something. I'm moving back to Colorado here in December, at which point I'll ditch the 'tude. I just got to the point where I was smokin' a ton of herb and fuckin' off on message boards all day, thus not being too productive, which is not cool if you have stockholders/investors kinda counting on you. So, I quit puffin' almost 3 months ago and got my shit back in order. Life is actually pretty grand now. On another note, this board looks like it's really taking off...plenty of posts/threads for sure. Dope. I just started promoting my board and it's starting to pick up, but nothing like this...yet. Basically, I had to really test the board, make changes, even upgrade to the latest version, then customize it again. I just added a photo gallery too, but I haven't added any categories to it, let alone pics, yet. I will though, I just got it working properly yesterday, so all in due time. So, are you cuttin' much? I heard you were on skype, from one of the other posts, slicin' it up . That's way cool man. I can't wait to hear some of your new ish. Me, I've been cutting a lot lately.
