Nimrod Posted June 17, 2006 Share Posted June 17, 2006 after reformatting my comp ive found that watching video causes the comp to crash. i remember this happening when i first got my comp ages ago but i cant remember how i sorted it. ive got k-lite and divX codec bundles installed and ive updated my graphics driver and it still crashes in a reallyunhealthy way lol. any ideas chaps? Steve Posted June 18, 2006 Share Posted June 18, 2006 Right click the desktop and choose Properties. Click on the Settings tab, then the Advanced button. Click the Troubleshoot tab and lower the Hardware Acceleration slider a notch, then hit Apply then OK. Reboot and see if it's any better. If not, try lowering it another notch.
