djxander
I'm thinking about purchasing a midi controller b/c in the long run i don't just want to be a scratch artist, but a musician and I find it extremely limiting and SEVERELY FUCKING FRUSTRATING to have to enter melodies via mouseclick... so much so that it makes me not want me to produce ne music. I'm looking for something nice w/ lots of controllers. The new korg looks sweet, more than 2 octaves and tons of faders/punch buttons - but its pretty pricey. Any suggestions or personal experience in this realm?
S S
i know exactly how you feel mate. having a keyboard is much less restrictive. haven't had much experience with midi keyboards but i use these at college and they're pretty good - http://www.dolphinmusic.co.uk/d2/page/shop...3f9594d1e341ed5id just look through sites like nusystems.co.uk or zzsounds.com and see whats there. djxander
well... I'm looking to do stuff involving synths and sampling instruments, etc. So if i wanna play an intricate melody, i have to CLICK that motherfucker in... its unbearable... plus there are controls that you can set up (faders on the midi keyboard) and you can set those up to control certain nobs in reason... alows for alot more hands on real time manipulation - im sleepy hope that made sense
