Steve Posted December 14, 2005 Share Posted December 14, 2005 BitTorrent clients generally won't work if you're using the firewall built into XP. If you have that disabled and you're using a third party firewall (Sygate, ZoneAlarm etc.) then make sure you've given Azureus the correct permissions to access the Internet. Also, if you're using a router, you'll have to look into port forwarding. Also port forwarding: http://www.portforward.com/routers.htm Just pick your router and the program and it'll tell you how to do it. Mixologist Posted December 15, 2005 Share Posted December 15, 2005 Tate it depends, Azureous, or whatever is a java app, Bitbomet isn't. I wanted something a bit quicker so i got bitcomet.
