make yourself a jap psn account too. i think the katamari demo is on there this week. steves right about the 360 board revisions and the 60gb 1st generation ps3s. on a side note my 360 is 1st gen ooold school baby you can 'fix' the rrod yourself and its pretty easy to do but it seems to just delay the inevitable and generally rrod's again within a few months at the most

keep both if you can i;ve got both and i must admit my 360 goes on once in a blue moon for a bit of left 4 dead. i <3 my ps3. fair enough all my mates play on ps3 so thats a main deciding factor. get some good exclusives like mgs4 or gt5 prologue. i have heard about the ylod on the ps3 but have had no personal experience with any ps3 problems, and like i said i see a lot of consoles m$ patented a few of the online features on the 360 so $ony could'nt incorporate them into the ps3 there are workarounds for these features but its up to the developers to put them in-game as $ony cannot use them..

....beware the claw hand... and cut straight lines (inch or so)all the way around the wax from the edge of the record towards the centre. then chop the sections off. it gets easier when you get to the fine trimming part...............but..... it really is easier and better to buy a pair of mr.clean 7's. £14 for the pair delivered

p.s but......i've had my 360 for years, bought second hand did all my experimenting with flashing and doctoring on it and its still going strong

i've flashed and fixed quite a few 360s now and i would say the rrod has eventually killed 2 thirds of them. it's a really badly made piece of kit imho. the repairs and fixes seem to work but you are only delaying the inevitable....

gamesharing on ps3, 1. you buy a game off psn using your ps3 and your account 2. you make a new user account on your mates ps3 and choose 'use existing acct' and put the log and pass of your acct in 3. go to the store while logged in on your mates machine and click downloads top right. a list of your downloads pops up and you can download each game 4 more times (used 1 of your 5 d/ls with your machine) to your acct regardless of whos machine its on. click game, choose ' download in background ', log out and sign back in on your mates usual account and the game will download to his machine. the catch is you have to leave your user acct on your mates machine permanently, he doesn't have to log in as you to play the game but your user acct must stay on his machine. he does the same for you and you get 2 for 1 its best to leave at least 1 of your 5 downloads as a spare incase you need to d/l it again yourself. dont forget you are giving the details of your acct to someone else so do the usual safeguards. untick 'remember password' while logging in on your mates machine. delete credit card details on your ps3 after each purchase, change your password on your ps3 after each share. gamesharing with real mates you can trust with your account is the best way ( and the legal way) you can access your games and play them at a mates house is the sony vision for gamesharing.
