So my girlfriend has had enuff all my records lying about messing up the bedroom and she wants me to clean it up . Im making some boxes and racks like the ones HTFR sell . Now........how should i organize them , alphabetical,sleeve color,years. I normally jus play what ever is too hand really , but it would be nice to kno where everything is. How do U keep your vinyl in check???.

LOL . thats some funny sh!t . Reminds me of my m8 when we used to play 'streetfighter II' on the playstation 1 , i would kick his ass regular on it . I would have to stop him from smashing up his console cause he got so irrate. He would throw ashtrays , lighters , cups & whatever he had near him at it . hehe . Now he plays 'quake' and its a no-go area when he's on one .

I constantly find stuff on my pc . I jus found some 'data miner' and 'alexis' on mine today . I keep important things in my documents ( text files with info ) , can they read all these??. Or are they just interested in my web browsing???.

Yeh man i had the same problems , it showed all my user-list offline yet i was still downloading from them . It used to freeze alot too ( and when i restarted all my U/L's & D/L's vanished . Someone on there said its there servers that play up alot . I just waited for it to sort itself out . Mine runs sweet as now . Or you might have a corrupt version , try getting a new one .

I hear that 'Turbo' is no longer alive , cause he done a headspin and broke his neck , anyone kno if this is tru???.

Nice , i jus copied it to a text file. I'll give this a bash.

I sorted it without deleting . I moved it when i first downloaded it to another folder , so i thought i would try deleting the rest of the traks that worked , windows said the filenames where to long & sumthin about invalid path . So i moved the whole folder back to its original place , and now the whole tape works . Hehe . Wierd sh!t eh ! .

Yeh i tried it in WM and Realplayer & Vegas all did'nt recognize it . I got it of Soulseek , so perhaps i could find the ones that are fooked again . If not i'll try the safe mode one . Thanx for the help Clownstyle .

I jus d/l this phatt nas tape by Dirty Harry , when i play the traks ( its seperate files ) Number 5,15,17,28 and a few others wont play . If i right click them it says play/enqueue in winamp , but it aint got the rename or delete functions . So i thought well u can f..k off my system then , but i cant even delete it . I tried re-starting my pc as well . WTF izza going on here . :s Am i left with a tape i cant sort out or delete ???.

Yeh man i sorted the leads out . Aint tried to record yet tho . Once i use audition i'll see what i can record like . Does audition have a bit for making beats & loops or do put your beats in from elsewhere ????

Xcellent post man . So let me get this str8........ u can record on one of the traks , and it only records whats going into that trak , not the rest of the song . Or do u have to mute the other traks . I been busy so i aint used Audition yet . Nice to have some knowledge b4 hand tho y'kno.

Imma Emule that 'Audition' baby then . Can u make or put in a beat in it then record over it from the decks ( scratching ) . But so it dont record over the beat and gives you jus the scratch ( as in can i hear the beat im scratching too , but not record it again . F..k does that make sense , hehe.

Whats 'Audition'

The lead from my pc goes str8 to the mixer , then the mixer goes to the amp . I jus switch it to line when i wanna hear from the pc , thats how i record too . Is this naff then.

I see the other thread about recording scratching , my problem is that when i record from my decks , it comes out muffled and distorted , i use vegas to record into . Is there some setting i have to change ( i found the record volume , but it normally makes it worse ) . Am i doing sumthin wrong or should i use another prog to record into . Or is it my S/Card .??? . I have to use mp3 for samples at the mo , but wanna take sh!t off my vinyl .

Man not even an apology from aol. I got to w8 '5-7 working days' for the up-grade . There only 4 months behind the foolz.
