  1. curious...whats the traslation to US dollars? i need to learn that shit someday.
  2. lmao! what a douche....it was a fair deal though...shit was wrote out in words and once you make that deal its sign, sealed, delieverd and hes gone! haha.
  3. http://s44.yousendit.com/d.aspx?id=01YIIDY...QQ2OSE70NBIMN40 havent posted shit for the longest time...been workin my production alot latly so heres a little taste of something new...i should be posting up a end of the year 05' beat sampler here soon so ill keep you guys updated soon....check it out and let me know what you think.
  4. yikes! hook it up max! ive been want them beyotchs for sometime. would appriciate it much friend
  5. id like to get a mpd16 pad or a trigger finger as well but! if you want the aspect of being able to chop and bang out(pause) your samples on the fly...id get a decent midi keyboard....i myself have a m-audio keystation 49e. i use fruity loops with this and the main reason i got a keyboard over the pads first was cause id rather have the aspect of being able to put chopped samples into keys and play them out on the fly AND be able to have something to play some keys on(even though i dont know how to,i like the feel of keys onna keyboard rather then playing notes onna keyboard). but thats just me and further down the line(not that you couldnt add a trigger finger into you setup if you wanted to) but in the long run it'd be nice to add like a sound module of some sort tot he setup so you can run more sounds and have something to control it with.
  6. wow,are you for real?!?! this thing is some serious business were talkin here!! lol woooo makes the RC20xl look like a little bitch compared to that massive monster lol.
  7. vestax's EQ's and Gains suck balls, give you no headroom what so ever...other than that, theyre tank mixers for sure....but...i love my SA5 (but then im beginning to want to get a 707,look into that bitch and you'll find out whats up with those mixers!)...the xone i havent tried yet, havnet heard let alone seen anyone with one yet? but for your top three choices for price ,flexablitiy, and quality id say SA5 IMO.
  8. ^^^lmao@ the second one hahahaha
  9. lmao!@ death stare....i know LOTS of djs that stare like theres nothign wrong...even when they suck they stare....just throw something right in between there eyes and then see what they do haha. that shit is hillarious....and also...when djs move there mouth to there scratchs....thats PURE comedy!!
  10. always have a regular follow up scratch? like for me...i noticed and for alot of other djs ive watched, follow up after about 6-8 scratchs(or less) with a crab to fill in. crabs to me seem like the pick of choice to add for usual fill in and follow ups to any combo. how about for you?
  11. ps....quagmier and chris f. make a great video....haha!
  12. if you listen to the track and watch Ryan's Chris F. picture it makes for a great video lmao.
  13. yea imma have to talk to the guy about teaching for 2 hours...i can only think of so much to show and not spoil them with intermediate 220 class shit or something...i dont know we;ll see. thanks for the input guys anymore would be helpful too!
  14. ^^very true...good lookin out man.
  15. TOLD YOU FOOL!! sheesh...this track is WAY doper than the original...in my opinion...sorry i didnt come through on this shit, that other beat i honestly wasnt feeling one bit. i woulda jumped on this track if this beat was the choice to begin with. SUPER DOPENESS MAN!!! TOLD YOU IT WAS HEAT! ha!
  16. heres the site.... www.spunacademy.com the site is still being updated so disregaurd anything thats not working or is posted right i.e. the whole dj120 and 220. pretty much there to learn everything from top to bottom in each subject. as for my syllabus, pretty much did consist of what you just said... I - Introduction to scratching ~How it all begun. ~The setup *configuration *settings *style *good/bad ~Getting started with scratching. *babies *cutting *march/military *drags *transformers *tears *chrips ...one thing is...the administrator told me to keep it really simple and basic for the students and not go to fast, which is obvious but....can you really teach scratching for 2 hours...i cant really think of that much to say about scratchs...i can add a bunch of tips i guess and other various little things to know when scratching(even though thats another given)...can anyone think of a way to split shit up into 4-2hr classes? gonna be even more complicated once its the 220. this guy is really a fast pace guy,im sure he knows what hes doin, hes teaching the mixing class, but i dont know how much he can really tell about mixing, ill have to ask him and see his syllabus. im really just tryin to make a good impression and get this spot(which i most likely will haha) so i can get free shit hopefully because hes talking to Shure,Panisonic,Vestax,Rane etc. companys to sponsor his academy. and no im not in it for the money but because i want to see more dj come up in the area im in cause its really something that should be tapped into cause its a great hobby and alternitive to other th ings.
  17. alright so i know it might sound kinda weird and dumb...but over here in Portland theres a new rising company out here (and very legit) thats starting up an academy for dj/production/music business. I was referd to them from a friend of mine to be a instructor for there DJ120-220 classes. 120 being beginners 220 being intermediate. The administrator wants me to write up a rough syllabus for the classes. Now,the classes are going to be 2 hours long each(yes, thats quite a bit of talking for some scratching dont you think?). Its gonna be over a 4 week period,1 class a week. Most likely not gona reach the max of 6 students but so far they have the min. amount of 3 so far. I have many ideas of how i could do this but im sure theres lots of things im probably gonna forget. so if you guys could, help me out with giving me as many ideas as possible to through into the classes.Dont think im relying on you guys for everything but i know everyone here could give me some support and help me out with this..ive never written a sllyabus before so this is super super new to me. the syllabus goes: DJ120 - Turntablism For Beginners I-_________________________ II-_____________________ III-____________________ IV-_______________________ DJ220 - Turntablism For Intermediate I-_______________ II-_______________ III-_________________ IV-_________________ if you guys can help a DV brotha out,id love you guys forever and send each and everyone of you roses of your choice personally with a card and chocolates.
  18. I ahve done this amillion times with my loopstation. maybe I should post one. I feel like I have almost to much freedom when I throw guitars in. I did one with both a guitar and a bass. I also did a lil vid of some loops, iwas doing. Maybe I can find it. FlipFlop, tight as always. I would be interested in putting some raps over some of your instrumentals I have heard. Holla at me. BTW How did you do the stepping back n forth between loops. Didnt see one of those pedals to switch back and forth. Did you use your hands? <{POST_SNAPBACK}> all you do is just turn the track knob back or forward one then back to the original track youre using and when it comes to the one count it'll go back to the original saved loop. vekked - yea it does sound off but if you listen closely...some of the hits or whatever land on beat, its just one of those off sounding things you have to kinda get used to sometimes....i been doin it kinda often latly cause having stuff sounding to quantized just doesnt sound very great to me anymore. thanks for ALL the feedback friends!! more to come later on...ill get at you soon gabe!
  19. i just got mine finally this last Sat. and actually made my first track within 1-2 hours of playin around with it. so check it out and let me know what you guys think. ALL LIVE and on the fly right before your ears. http://s57.yousendit.com/d.aspx?id=09I00JR...EU0KURNLKKMXZK8
  20. so my hard drive is pretty loud...and im in need of a new one pretty soon anyways cause im runnin outta space on my 40gig hd. so heres my problem....ive gotta Dell 3250 and theres only one bay for the hard drive ,cant really fit any others in there and regaurdless if i could,i wouldnt want to keep the one i got right now simply cause its to loud. so my question is......is there anyway i can transfer all my files n everything on the hd i have now to a brand new one? help me out guys!!! p.s. and what brands are good? im pretty much a consumer buyer when it comes to things that are expensive,i dont like to go over board on top of the line shit so anything thats good onna budget of about 50-100 would be nice. any other info i might need to know let me in on it!! much appriated!
