  1. yo has anyone got the accapella to people under the weather? i'm absolutely loathed to find another track (i'm not 100% happy with this one to be honest) for this remix i'm doing and i don't want to work with my copy if i can help it, i have a hairline fracture down the accapella which pops every rotation, plus it's a bit harsh sounding.

if anyone can help i'd really appreciate it...

  2. dope as fuck bro.

    er, advice/opinions...

i think the vocal sometimes sounds like it's not bedding well, have you tried turning that sample up a few cents to see whether it tunes in better?

i'd thicken out the piano at the end with some with more depth overlaid on top- leave the verse one in place

as the 'you' hits the brink of the lowpass it sounds really nice so i'd play with that, make it resonate a bit more round that sweet spot and trigger it a few more times or something.

there quite a few little harmonics that make me imagine sounds that aren't there, this is the kind of foundation i have a field day with cus i sit and jam with it for ages...

    i really like this bro

  3. if you're just using it as an audio workhorse and everything you use has 64 bit drivers then keep it, if not ditch it. last computer i built was an athlon 64, i fairly excitedly loaded on the 64 bit edition of windows and then disappointedly removed it later that afternoon. it's an absolute ballache getting anything that works for it. admittedly that was close to two years ago- we did look again a year later though and there was still nothing supported.

  4. alrite bro,

it's pretty, but from a promotional standpoint it's not that great... i'd use a sans serif, no frills font (arial, helvetica, futura, myriad, etc) for the info and definitely for the weblinks. i'd also say a little bit more about what group hugg is- something like 'come share your talents and help shape/establish/participate the new club night group hugg' so that people are clear. you need to make it clearer how to contact you too- rather than just a myspace link, saying 'for more information visit...' is better- and a phone number is boss.

i'd change the hierarchy somewhat as well, making the text far bigger.

it's a *lot* of work making a new starter night a success, a constant learning curve and concession after compromise after flat out failure. it is fun though, all the best with it bro! if you need any advice then let me know, i've been involved with this kind of thing quite heavily at uni myself.
