now Digidesign fall even further behind with Protools updates...aaah I still can't use my MBox with my new laptop...
Although garageband isn't to bad for multitracking... but anyways... security holes who uses them?

I think 2 months gives an extra long growth time to get a good spread, depth and length hence giving more scope to design your preferred mustache style...

The enrocc rough way to get rid of the flower potting style warp not the kink style, this does work honest? try it but don't be to heavy handed...
I end up placing the offending record on the platter and with both hands at 12 oclock place my thumbs on the record label pushing down and with my fingers on the outer edge gently pulling up to bend the record slightly (max 30mm as a guide) in the opposite way to the warp... then with some cool skill, walk the record round whilist keeping it bent on the platter whilist still push down with your thumbs, do this a couple of times if needs be... if you over do it flip the record and repeat process... after awhile this begins to completely remove the warp, I know cos I have removed this type of warp on over a 100 million records...

are you sure p&G don't make them now? did wonder about this, especially as you're pushing the eb one now.
they'd be putting their rep on the block if so.. my understanding was that vestax effectively said "stop selling you faders direct to the public for £40 or else!"
anyway, they're sweet as, mine is 12 months old and a real breath of fresh air
however, it does seem to have come a bit loose. is this a common problem, and can it be addressed with the minimum of fuss?
I have a spare P&G which I bought a few years ago but I want to completely kill this PCV or fix the other one before I use it...
-
the best thing about the P&G is you can get the repair kit for 15 notes and it has spare everything's in there!
where can you get it? I bent the little spring thingies when I was cleaning it...doh!
I'm using a modded pcv at the mo and that seems as good as the P&G. it has a fine a cut in point but really loose with that magic caig oil!

I use an Mbox and Protools LE 6.7 but thats cos I'm gangster....

i used technics 1200s since 1986, but found that they lack the features of the vestax tables.
so after such a long time, i sold my 1200s and am in the middle of buying some pdxs...
im looking forward to the extra features they offer.
I was lucky to swop my 1200's for PDX's :hmm:

on that note I need to get some flight cases for mine... surprised I haven't ripped my tone arm off...
-
I just like pitching stuff really low or fast... I have reversed beats in a mix a couple of times?? but thats about it??
