  5. next 5 years prices for vinyl is gonna drop right out. even the rare gems won't be so ridiculous, ask anyone who works in a record shop (i do) and they know. personally im done paying out the ass for the hard-to-finds for the moment, but im keeping my eyes open for the long term here. it's gonna be very exciting for us collectors
  6. where does everyone get those shelf things for their laptops for their desks? mine's always been sitting on a cardboard box in my studio taking up alot of surface space when i dont even touch it (external kb and mouse in the studio). would be alot better if i could put stuff underneath it and use the desk space, but i still need to see the screen so i cant just tuck it away somewhere.

  8. yeah i had a broken one, i was able to find a site selling the stems out of the uk but was never able to get a hold of onyone there. i had one in a stanton and took off the silver faceplate that covers half the mixer and was able to stick the fader knob onto the half stem enough to still use it, but never able to fix completely. i sold it after awhile and got a rane. GOOD LUCK png are nice faders i had no complaints with mine ntil it broke after a year and a bit, and im not heavy handed.
  9. anyone ever tried renoise? the new beta just came out. mid 90's i used trackers all the time for making beats and got to the point i could do it all eyes closed, back when you didn't use a mouse for anything. progressed through alot of different apps and software since 99 and been using logic now for a long time. i was always more comfortable in a tracker setup though, and even though i know logic in and ou alot of things are still pretty tedious that were easy back then. anyways anyone ever used it? i want to know what it's like.
  10. i used to listen to alot of evil grimey ass shit and i was going through all my records lately and im sorta stuck on all my old 3rd eye foundation, techno animal, scorn, ect allover again. you know those beats in the dungeon that jsut give you nightmares, anyone else into that type of sound? anything downtempo ambient industrial trip hop dnb breakcore idm whatevathefuck type shit, list it up ill start with some; third eye foundation - ghost byzar spectre - the illness simm alecempire steve roach and i dont mean list up all the dark dnb tracks ever, that's crazy. i mean you could even list panacea tracks for days but most anyone can make some heavy shit with distorted amens and chunky bass, needs to be more interesting for me usually except love me some christoph de babylon hardness. and yeah this is all older stuff i haven't really kept up with anything other than hiphop lately :PPPP
