  1. I've got the Ion, the big brother to the Micron. Amazing synth, very easy to use, sounds great, and is super easy to program the sound you want. Having used both I'd go for the Ion if you can find one, they aren't that much more expensive and you'll get pretty much as close as you're going to get a VA that looks and sounds like the real thing.

  2. Got new monitors last year and was down to 2 after listening to loads. I went back and forth between the A7's and and pair of Dynaudio BM5A's for 2 weeks but ultimately went with the Dynaudio's. Not taking anything away from the Adams, they are really clear and the stereo image is amazing if you set them up properly, but I found them just a bit too harsh and the BM5A's are silk on my ears for long sessions and even damn good looking to boot.

  3. you don't need the elite that has hdmi, just get a regular one and you can get a vga cable for it. also i highly highly suggest getting one with the hd, you'll need one at some point anyways and it cost way more to buy it seperate.

you should get the pro/premium/whatever it's called now (comes with 20gig hd, component cable and 1 controller) it's the middle of the road model and has everything you need.

  5. seems like bullshit still.. the cria is really the same as the ria, it's not a canadian division or something. the music coalition in canada is the real one, i don't get why they'd block canadians because of the ria getting on them about it. the cria is nearly non-existent.
