Yo! The first Promo is just 2 revolutions of my new Scratch Wax 'The Boss'. I will be uploading a new promo every week to showcase the samples that are on it, none to my knowledge have been used on other scratch records apart from the obvious (fresh & Arhh), Loads of drum, synths, bleeps and basses, with locked vocal phrases. We have spent over a year putting this shit together to try and give people some unique sounds to manipulate, we are very proud of it. We hope you all like it. No.1 - Mr. Wonderful (Death Star Drums) No. 2 - My man Technical J Flipping (My Selecta) No. 3 - Mr. Wonderful (Drop My New Style) No. 4 - Mr. Wonderful (Run Tings) No. 5 - Mr Wonderful (Brand new Plastic) Pre-Order - http://rhythmrollers.uk/The-Boss

Mr. Wonderful replied to Darcyd's topic in MEMBER AUDIO & VIDEO FILES
I lIke this one Darcyd and the wonk too . Too much stuff is quantised these days, it's better to be live and wonky than pre-recorded and stiff, in my opinion. -
Boom! Well done fella's a great success all round then.

Nice video for sure and defiantly a practical way to carry out the 12" to 7" task.

Good work Yo!

Lol! Typical hey! Traktor need to pull their finger out or I am going to get some bootlegs sorted!
-
We started that way, but didn't have good enough knife so failed, lol!! Where you trimming yours down for Traktor or Serato?
-
Cheers for the link. We also thought of cutting it, but opted for the drill, slightly nerve-racking and time consuming, but happy with the result never the less. I believe that Serato actually do currently sell 7" records, but Traktor doesn't !
-
I have been searching for a while for a Traktor 7" and they didn't seem to sell any, so decided to take this matter into my own hands.
-
Cheers bro, that was a fun one to do for sure.

Cheers bro, glad you like them, all filmed in the UK. which one was you referring to get embedded?
-
I checked the first one on the channel page, "Strings". Will definitely check the others. A friend of mine called Nige used to be involved with hip hop & turntablist nights in Norwich in the late 90's, he was from Luxembourg originallly. Did you ever cross paths? Yep, I knew Nigel very well, we ended up working together running a few events together, great lad, good skater too. You must know Chrome then? as me and him ended up putting on the 'Sureshot Hip Hop' events on and I swear we brought you down to a few? and we've even met? Lol

Cheers bro, recorded back in 2003. It's a shame we didn't recorded though a desk as the bass is very heavy and really gels it all together. Signed to http://rhythmrollers.uk/- The label has given us the freedom to be able to write what we want and they support our musical approach, it was a great deal all round.
