The 909s fader a lil bit different than the others. But once you get used to it, it's the shit. But I still prefer the feel of the TTM-56 from Rane. But when it comes to efx, the 909 can't be beat (if you are mixing). Using external efx with the 909 doesn't work as good as on a Rane or the PMC-08. But when it comes to external efx or connecting additional gear, I would go with the RODEC SKRATCHBOX. That mixer is just a dream.

Once you are used to the new controllers, there's no problem with the strap. Or at least I did not have any. The Wii rules that's all I can say!

I used to rock the Nightclub S needle of whortafon. After that the Pink one. They are both goodsounding needles. If you are used to ortofons they wont skip that much either. But once I used the M44-7, I never went back. They are holding better and do not eat up your vinyl as hard as the ortofons (IMO).

You never find a Omega for 15£. Exept maybee if the seller is yelling "Lookie, Lookie" and walks towards you on the beach and sells you a 5$ fake watch for 15£. I get once a year a 40% discount on watches of the higher price segment. So 3 years ago I bought meself a Omega Speedmaster for 2200 Swiss francs instead of 3360 Swiss francs.

Funny enough I work for the biggest Watchmacking company in Switzerland, but yeah croatian watches must be good too. If ever you need a good swiss watch (even after that bad experience), with a discount, let me know. That's a hard one. I allready own a Pioneer 909, but wouldn't mind having a Skratchbox with an Pioneer EFX-1000. The implementation of external EFXs is very flexible on the Skratchbox. But having the EFX internally can be very practical as well. All I know is, you would like both, whatever combo you choose. You could still come to my studio to test the 909 if you want.
