the only thing that has ever held back any of my progression is figuring out dope combos and then falling back on them too often... i found that a good remedy for getting out of the fall back skratches is to constantly change up beats so that you dont have enough time at one tempo to develop long term muscle memory which will eventually make it near impossible to get out of your old patterns

is there anyway around having to open the entire flash program when i run your looper...
mabye i d/l it wrong... i right clicked save link as... cause when i just clicked on it all i got was a new window in firefox with the looper in it...
shits dope though... i just wish i could run it without opening flash also...

should you be lucky enough to generate enough press that someone would actually ask to see proof of your license after your set you WILL be able to afford to pay the fine and/or pay for the license. however i highly doubt that touring dj's, resident dj's at shitty clubs and even midlevel dj's like relm who use serato are bieng asked to provide proof of licensing before they perform. the level you would need to be at to have someone give a shit if you were playing stolen tracks would be the likes of tiesto, sasha, oakenfold, A.M., Z-trip, and even though i know there is talent floating around this board, i highly doubt many have the drive to reach star status.
so really there is nothing to fear, go on stealing music and playing it for the few that might listen... the only thing someone might ask you to do after your set is play another one somwhere else.

mixing is pretty easy if you ask me... the thing some kids cant do is drop the beat right.. but yall are skratch heads so it shouldnt be a problem... right?
dope sets that i see are ones that have live remixes for sure... and with a little practice at home... that too... is easy
but definatly, if you cant mix... learn how because some one is bound to ask you to spin a party and we all know that skratching in a beat and doing volume fades is not ok
at all...

my rc 20 is dope for sketching shit out... and can even be dope live... but you cant easily drop parts out and put them back in like you want to ... i got pissed with that and bought ableton live 5 with a midi foot controller... now i can do whatever i want.. . shit is limitless... i suggest that

i really like the first 2 tracks, sick drums on both.. the melody for lortalove is ace, think it could have done with a little reverb or something to *blur?* the sound a little with the rest of the track though
glad to hear you dug em...
alot of people tell me my tracks have kinda an abrasive feel like that and that i need another sample or something of more bass to tie it all together... but whenever i try it it doesnt sound like good to me... just a style/preference thing i guess...
alot of people hate my synths too...
the drums are what took me the most time tho so im glad you dug em

desodder the little prongs on the side that has no electronics running through it and pinch the pins on the side walls with needlenose plyers... then get some alchohol and pour it on the back to clean that shit... then spray silicon spray on the back where the prongs touch the black lines.... if you want you can pull the backside of the fader off a little bit and bend the prongs back a bit to get an even lighter fader... but i like a lil bit of resistance. when your done snap it all back together and taper her up...

oh yeah... and i just rip off those metal dust guards... thier not really that helpful seenin as how most dust gets in through the top. and thier a hassle to get through everytime you wanna clean your clickstick

alot of the phrasin was a bit on the sloppy side. but in my defense it was due to the fact that i only did one take for every sample cause i didnt feel that i needed to spend more than a half hour provin myself to vekked. that loopers everywhere... i think its still in the audio section on d's board. i had the bass eqed a quarter of the way up... i never drop it out all the way. another thing i never really do is make multitrack diss files... most of my time is spent in abelton 4 fuckin with skratchy glitch hop shit... but i will admit... it was fun to have a reason to skratch dre sayin suck my dick... haha

ok Lorn, I can't even give proper Vekked comments on this one, cuz I've listened to it 4 times in a row... this is h3333t, d&b's a really love/hate thing with me, some I can feel, some I'm like wtf thas jus crap drums, but those synths are infectious, and the drums are gettting me pumped, this is what d&b should be about, making Vekked wanna punch bitches in the mouf, I'm out to go find some girl on the street, she's fucked.
p.s. this is defo album quality mang, I've heard tons of d&b thas way more shite that get pressed, this kills it, I'd rave to this no prob, glowstick me!

127k isnt really that much money all things considered... and Specialty vinyl is really taking a hit lately... consider the possibility that there was a 3-6 month wait and then the tests were approved and the records shipped... only to have an error of some sort... 306 month process repeats... possibly some other error... miscommunication or unforeseen problem... This kind of stuff happens constantly with kickstarter. A friend of mine worked on that apple dock that received 1.4 million in funding a while back. It was the highest kickstarter funding reached at that time. Even with the massive influx of capital it took like three or four times as long to deliver... by the time the units shipped apple had switched to lighting adapters. It was a disaster. You gotta remember that kickstarter is not a store, you are funding an idea with the possibility of a reward if the idea works out... sometimes they dont.
I do think Thud should be transparent and announce the factors contributing to the delay so that fans didn't have to wonder if they were getting the short end of it... cause lets be honest here... those 7" baby seals are basically like printing money when you consider the cost per 7" after the initial plate is made is basically nothing and all they have to do is ask for a different color and it sells out lol... so, we know they are not totally broke. They could explain the missing puzzle pieces...
