  1. Yep - Im a huge wrestling fan and have played loads of wrestling video games over the years and the annual 2k games have just felt like new character expansions for a few years now. I bought a couple of them and stopped because theres honestly very little that differentiates them and they feel like an annual cash grab. This one looks unbelievably terrible - apparently its because the long term developers left and the new team had to try to build the game from scratch in a small time frame and consequently it's a broken mess. If anyone is looking for an alternative I'd suggest the latest fire pro wrestling game for PS4/steam, which is more of a cartoony look but very fun. Honestly itd be great to get a whole new rebrand and have unique games that come out as and when theyre ready (eg along the lines of their all stars game from a few years back) and not rushed for an annual release. WWE in general is a shitshow at the moment from dodgy business approaches from trying to buy out all the wrestlers from the competition and not use them just so that others cant hire them and refusing to release those who want to leave, to their terrible terrible writing on their main roster shows.
  2. Not playing this yet, as it's not out until Nov 8th, but here's the next game I'll be playing. It's from the director of the Metal Gear Solid series. I've been following it since the first trailer in 2016 - it looks like a survival horror meets open world game, but also lots of exploration:
  3. thanks dude! haha - i got endorsed by them a couple of years back and that's the name they give to it
  4. Thanks yall! I think were going to be back in USA/Canada in December and hopefully Europe eventually too
  5. Hey gang - serato invited me to do the launch video for their new midi controller, the XP2. Its an updated XP1 for both rekordbox and serato Dj and includes a load of new modes for serato users and the ability to essentially have 4 different pad modes live at the same time. I only ever do these videos when its kit Id use myself and id highly recommend checking this one our for more musical routines:
  6. JFB won tech and Statiko & Pnuts won showcase I believe
  7. Do you think that's likely to happen? BTW, what's so much better about this than, say, Serato in relative mode when it comes to minimising skipping? for me, this is really game changing for club use because you get zero issues live with needles - no feedback/signal issues from bad tonearms, or gunk on needles from sweat/mositure/smoke machines etc or issues with vibrations from bass. I'd experience at least one of those at every show I play and this device bypasses it all.
  8. I agree with the whole shooters thing. Im more into beat em ups or adventure games or rpgs and the PS4 has loads of those as exclusives. Id love Xbox if I was more into shooters/action games.
  9. After a few months of use - Id say sticker drift to do juggling or any precise sticker repeated routines isnt tight enough yet for serious use. However, djing with it is great now and i love it for doing my live stuff with shield as it removes all the skipping / turntable issues and we dont do any sticker marker related stuff. I think until they get official support from DVs companies the drift wont be solved
  10. Hey gang - we're heading back to the states next week. Here's our dates
  11. Great to meet you Pete! Can confirm was much fun
  12. Maybe ask on the Facebook event for hostel recommendations in Brighton or nearby - I know a lot of the guys share hostels to save money during the csg weekend
  13. awww forum friends become IRL friends!
  14. I beat Judgment's main story over the weekend - really good story. A few repetitive moments when they shoehorned in stealth/follow missions to reinforce that the protagonist is a detective rather than a mobster like the Yakuza series, but fortunetly they're not that common. There's a huge amount of minigames, side quests and other things to do so I'm sure I'll at least double my play time doing those - they're already hilarious (as opposed to the pretty serious tone of the main story) so will be fun to play through all those. It's been reduced by $20 in the USA at the moment if you want to give it a go.
  15. Well done dude! enjoyed watching your routine!
  16. Just beat this, story was awesome and even though it's a lot of grinding at times (though nothing like rpgs I've experienced before, it's not necessary for most of it) it never felt boring i beat it at just over 80 hours but reckon theres a few bits I missed too
