i remember a while back i asked you the same thing and u said that it wasnt the boomerang. u said that boomerangs was the thing that deeswift done on his old electro file. fast transformed babys. thing is, everyone (well almost everyone, including dstyles) say that the boomerang is the one on the blt dvd right at the end of the cutting session. me personally, i want to learn it cuz it sounds wicked when done single time. not cuz its a "boomerang" and everyone wants to learn it

steve, we had this conversation before, hehe... if u go to the "cutting session" part of the blt dvd, in the extras section. right at the very end (dstyles finishes off the q/a session), you'll see dstyles do it with a fresh sample. u can see he is doing babys and double clicking. (like he said on his forum) just where the double clicks go im not sure, this is what i need to know!!!! the proper boomerang is very similar to a delayed 2 click flare but sounds very different when done slow. when sped up it sounds pretty much the same as a delayed 2 clicker.

i agree with ed too. but generally speaking, if your listening to scratch music, u can expect to hear drums a little off beat or choppy. then again, it all comes down to skill. ricci rucker (as much as i hate to say the name) is probably one of the best drummers i know. his drumming is so accurate and complex. u can forgive a skratch track for having off beat drums every now and again cuz after all its a SKRATCH TRACK!!!! but u cant forgive a normal programmed track for having weak/off beat drums cuz its all programmed.

hi, im looking at putting in a big order of around 10-12 records but i want to get them all from the same place. im after... 2 x flying saucer breaks 3 2 x dj kodh, vertigo 2 x rasgunyado, workout essentials 1 2 x rafik, workout essentials 2 1 x dj klevers + shotguns new ammo record plus a few more... most of these records are from france and germany, problem is that rarely USA sites dont stock these records and visa versa. does anyone know a cheap/reliable store which stocks these records??? what good online stores are there which stock french/german records??? turntablelab cant help

btw, i think that this fuckn boomerang is just a different variation of the delayed 2 clicker. dstyles said that the record motion is ALL babys, and its all in the clicks and how you accentuate the record movements. can anyone clarify this?

muzzells one is just a variation of a delayed 2 click flare... its a nice one though!!! fuck, that speed at the end was crazy, and considering u got something under your chin which u drop at the end is just nuts!! lol

muzzell and dj sonar from the 2005 dmc used em... its muzzells first juggle, sounds like a electronic beat with heavy guitar sounds. from memory its got white writing on it with a red/white background? anyways its the first routine he does. also, sonar uses it as his first routine in the eliminations. im also after the 2nd record that muzzell used with all the sick skipless beats. he uses it the most after his first routine. i think its a black/white label with JAG written on it? man that second record is fuckn crazy!!

thanks for the help so far guys... still not very clear though half chirp back, half chirp forward...will obviously end up on a forward stroke. so how the hell from there are u supposed to do 2 forward tears (2 sounds). it dont make sense! hehe

This is what i read on the dstyles forum... (hentsix's explanation which he got from dstyles at djs for life, i think?) --------------------- half chirp back, half chirp fw, tear fw, tear fw, half chirp fw, half chirp back, tear back, tear back... repeat ----------------------- firstly, i believe this scratch starts on the reverse stroke with fader open? my question is that if your starting with the fader open and doing a half chirp back, then you do a half chirp forward, at that point you will be finishing on a end of a forward stroke. so how the hell can u do two forward tears from there???? from the above explanation this is how i see it... starting open fader with the reverse stroke, pullback, click (ie half a reverse chirp) forward, click (ie half a normal chirp) tear back, tear back (2 sounds) then forward, click (ie half a normal chirp) pullback, click (ie half a reverse chirp) tear forward, tear forward (2 sounds) repeat can anyone elaborate?
