good info for beginners. magnetic faders, move plastic washers back and forth while cleaning the rails with alcohol, or any type of soap. use the proper caig fader lube product, or go to supply hardware shop and buy liquid silicon grease. that shit works like caiglube, i know cos i used to mail order that shit cos aint no fucking place here had it.

tinny sounding is what i second. the fader is light but heavy toward the ends. nothing special but the auto 10 clicks is an overkill. 10 clicks only if you travel from left end to right end of the xfader. the 10 clicks sounds like shit in my opinion

holds not true for all faders. the alps that vestax had on their mixers way back then didnt have the metal guard, you could see the fader rails from top view with flashlight. i used to just spray caig faderspray on the faders without fucking with the face plate.
