  1. Yeah exactly, sometimes it jsut seems a bit too nice..and not like the old prodigy stuff...perhaps he's just trying to jump on this electro clash trend that seems to be sweeping the world at the moment...(well...at least where i am)....there are some decent tracks though...i've seen a few people juggle 'Girls' and its sounded dope..
  2. Does the routine have to be a 6 min based one like the DMC's or is it more like a battle? Whatever you do, dont play some shit that everyones heard before, try and dig out some crazy old shit and work on a really unique routine. And if your planning on playing some drum and bass why dont you look up some of Craze's routines and see how he incorporates it?
  3. It all depends on how you use it...i dont think that some german house Dj bangin out 'choons' is really using it as an instrument, but more a catalyst. However, if you look at the turntablist use of turntables, scratching, juggling, drumming, needle dropping and using things like loop stations then i would most certainly consider it an instrument, because instead of just playing someone else's music, the person is using the turntable to create a unique sound...or loop etc...
  4. I didnt really like the new one...i dunno...there are a few great tracks on it...but it just seemed like he was getting all too electro-clashy on the record....didnt like that at all...
  5. Dont get me wrong, i love watching it too....but the if i had to choose the audio or the video...id go with the audio..
  6. Product placement is really good.........better listened too then watced though...
  7. No, unless he was previously in the Allies, i could be wrong..... Those vestax records are pretty good....good have more to em though..
  8. Doom tends to change his time signature quite a lot, at the end of a bridge he sometimes completely fucks up the sig and can change it up to 3 times in the space of two bars before returning to normality. check it out.
  9. Cant remember the exact name of it at the moment, but i think i know the scratch Q was talkin about, i think he mentions it when talking to the crowd at 'A Great day in Turntablism 4'
  10. Wasnt it Swamp or someone who had the record consisting of different octaves in descending tones? sounds dope when needle dropping..
  11. Danny Carey is well known for bangin out some amazing and crazy drumming, yuo should also check out the drumming in the band messugah, the music can be a bit much to take but goddamn triplets galore! Also check out Pink floyd'd 'Dark side of the moon', the time signature is quite normal 3/4 or 4/4 however its all played on the off beat...
  12. Where'd you get your hands on a gold 1210?? Can the custom LED's see in to the future? Vestax is always a good option, especially the 07, what you use before?
