  1. Yeah, this is dope. Keep up the good work!
  2. Thanks Pete/Rocky. It's always helpful to know how other people do it. One other thing: when you 'master', do you bounce the whole project first and create a new project to master in or keep it all within the project and put all your mastering plugins on the master out bus?
  3. haha, what level are you on? I can't seem to get past level 2...
  4. I've thought about doing this. How do you A/B your projects? Do you bounce them down and create a new project containing just your bounce-down and the target track or do you have the target track inside the project you're working on?
  5. I like cutting over Toadstyle beats and playing a game of 'Try not to bite Toadstyle'.
  6. Notice how Rob only brings the fader into the middle when he's tripling. If you want it to sound super tight, you can take the fader all the way to the opposite side and back when you're tripling. Klever does it at the end of his Luda juggle, at 5:06:
  7. The problem is they have been known to cause "skipping" during some juggles, even in REL mode. It's something to do with the louder signal distorting if you rewind really quickly. Really? So it's actually better and cheaper to get the bog standard discs. Cool!
  8. That Strings vid is wicked! What label are you signed to?
  9. Ah, I don't even have a hi hat to contribute this time. I'll give these a listen later on.
  10. This is really cool. I think this might be the answer to my problems because whenever I freestyle it's just a lottery of patterns I've learned and either sounds good or crap, depending on what mood I'm in. I need to follow more tutorials about discipline rather than new scratch techniques. I'll definitely be contributing to this mate
  11. Somebody please start a 'Post a pic of your setup when you're not using it' thread.
  12. Yes, all wicked vids. Some serious stuff here!
  13. That sounds like a bind! Thanks for the info. OneDrive for Business put me off using OneDrive altogether but if the ordinary client is OK, I'll give that a go and stick everything in the cloud.
  14. Did any of you pick this up? https://boomboxbrutality.bandcamp.com/releases Track #2
  15. Dilated are coming to Cornwall in July so I'm to see if I can blag the warm-up slot before they go on. First time I heard Rev cut on Work the Angles I was blown away. As for the GOAT, I would have said Bear Witness but that's not really a rap tune.
  16. Thanks for the words y'all. More to come soon
  17. FLOL, that's amazing! Especially the end bit.
  18. Oh. I thought it was downloadable by default. There ya go, all yours. Glad you like
  19. Check it out, I made a 12 bar blues joint using nothing but samples from the SuperDuck Breaks record. It started out as a 2 bar loop that I came up with on my pedal, when I was messing around, and then I had the 12 bar idea and recorded it into my DAW. I hadn’t thought anything of it until I saw a recent post from Symatic announcing that SDB turns 20 this year and it now seems I’ve inadvertently created a 20th anniversary tribute to a scratch record! Oh well, I suppose it makes a change from a tribute to a classic hip hop LP or a dead rapper. Plus Babu’s a legend, so it’s all good!
  20. Cheers fella. I'll dig in when I've got a minute.
  21. Do you ever run into any sync problems with the OneDrive client? We have to support the OneDrive for Business client at work and it causes no end of problems where it gets stuck syncing files. It really starts to get messy when you can't tell what has been backed up and what hasn't.
