I have the first 4 tracks from D STyles's new album. He gave them to me in London. They have the best soloing have EVER heard on. I promised him I wouldn't put them on the net though. As there are only a few people who have them he'd know it was me. i agree with you there,but the artic monkeys album is very special,it's a quality album and when you think about how they made it big.it's the equivelent of someone on this site releasing an albumand in a years time having it go no 1 purely by word of mouth. An album that gets where it is purely from people reccomending it ,with out record label bosses pushing it in everyones face deserves respect.

i'm going purely on what it sounds like,rather than complexity and all that,but for me mikes album bored me.it didn't seem to go anywhere,and it reminded me of the ambient stuff that was about in the early 90's ,a little too pretentious .for someone as tallented as mike boo i was expecting a lot, lot more. but then again i suppose it's like any artist where you hear some of there stuff and really love it,then you expect all the rest of there stuff to be along the same lines.then when it's not and they've taken a new direction your gutted.for me that was boos album.

bring on the sequal man!!!!! this first mix is fucking superb!

i loved louie lopez,so i hoped boo's album would sound like that,but instead it sounded like FUGA ,both shit imho.

i just got a quality dj krush @ the betalounge mix ,from themixingbowl ,well worth it if you download torrents. i'll try and post it ,but it'll be on megaupload.

i just downloaded space series 1 and it's a windows media file.but when i play it ,there's no sound and it says i need a codec? does anyone know which one it might be and how i might get it? I've tried to play it with VLC as that usually plays anything, but although the sound works,the picture is black and white and split into four.is there any way i can change some sort of setting to get it to play properly?????? cheers.

yeah that gig looks very good.and relm kicks ass. London gets all the best stuff.there's a jazz cafe in cardiff,but it doesn't even play jazz.most nights it plays house for the drunks .
