well i havent read the thread much but, traktor just blow balls straight up its complicated and they're making things complicated that shouldn't be. First time I used a traktor box it just blew me away took me like tons of time having it to work and giving me shit programs like traktor pro vs traktor scratch idegaf. plus given the unfriendly playlist system crates are just the way to go! or idk i just might be a serato fan boy. one cent! but z2s are awesome! just map it to serato and youll save more time

62 is hands down the best if we will disregard the budget. z2 is awesome but i think a 4 cue points and a filter knob wont cover much and im not a traktor fan myself I suggest you go for the rane 57sl, group buttons, line fader curves, post effects, built it serato, filter knobs and things like those and its pretty solid.

It looks too cheap for me. but will it do the job tho? could i like not buy the dvs for it and just use it for the fader and stuff like that lol

Both was amazingly insane! but personally, I would have to go with biox for the cleaner and more versatile cuts. Chinmachine kinda had a rough start imo

Hey guys, so I currently have a djm 600, and the fader isnt really meant for scratching so it gets stiff after a while and its just old and un-sexy So im planning to get a new 2 channel mixer, my budget it around 800$ or less since im still paying for the shipping and its gonna cost me around 100++ for sure. I really want to get traktor z2 since it looks so damn fine and it has an innofader, but I have both serato and traktor boxes and traktor for me just blows. im a serato guy all the way. Rane 57sl is super fine for me, I love the joystick, the cue buttons and the adjustable line faders, but it somehow lacks style lol I know it shouldnt matter but it counts. and having a built in serato will really help me cause I hate wiring stuff between the 2, should I stick with 57 or just get a z2 and map it to serato? A better fader is also a big + for me. im open to other brands too so im looking for suggestions too. Thanks so much!

I thought you use one hand to bring it down and the other to bring it up. but its all clear now its like you use one hand to bring it up and down then use the other to bring it up and down again right? I find serato better, never got a bug on mine. controller vs a z2? definitely on a z2 man. you cant compare both. z2 just kills it.
