I sorted my soundcard kinda, but now i get no power from my USB Ports, i cant even plug in serato it jus doesnt recognise i have plugged something in. Whats going on??? I didnt change any settings arrrrrrgh computers are making me go crazy...

No i havnt installed anything recently. Its just the old man unplugged it while it was on. I only Run this through the USB. Everything else is connected through it, bar Serato I never had any problem before im baffled. I dont use a USB Hub, its just a small simple device. I chose it because of portability. Thanks

I have an Edirol UA20, and Clownstyle rang me on skype he wanted to cut right, and I noticed my soundcard failed. The blue USB light indicated that its turned on will not light up, it wont recognised its connected to USB, I have the drivers installed. And it says device cannot start up? I dont get it... Surely if I unistall it and install it it would have worked but no luck its just fucked! I have to use this a lot of audio gear is connected to this thing, and now I cant use my decks or anything. Any ideas, thanks guys. Ive tried fixing this for hours! EDIT: In sounds an audio devices properties, under Edirol UA20 it says. Device cannot start (Code 10) :s

Ahh ok my bad. Its a good price, though I really did hear the D Type faders fuck they are hella weak. When I mixed, I used a Numark Matrix 3 + A Xone, but the Matrix 3 was a solid piece of kit. Only Numark mixer I have tried though.

So true, I had to re learn everything I learned on Cuebase as Ableton is so different. Though I love it each to their own huh hehe. Also look at ESI Near 06 Monitors, pretty much the same as M Audio BX8s but cheaper. I use two of these next to Genelecs, I use them for a different purpose but they are very effective. Give a very nice sound for the price.

Lives skins are wack yes and the design is lame, but the features are unbeatable IMO. Why not get a MicroKontrol midi keyboard, the velocity pads can be assigned to create drum patterns the same as the MPD 16 etc? Might save some cash jus a thought. Oh an Tapco S8 monitors are great for the price if you were looking at a cheaper pair.

I use albeton on its own. Hated Reason and hated Cuebase and I really hate Fruity Loops. Though they all have strong points, im sure SX will cut the costs.

Isnt that something to do with the Microsoft SW Midi Synnth mapper or something I might be confused? If you have an external soundcard it doesnt matter. If you rely on this for midi mapping I think your fucked? I might be wrong.
