  1. I'm definitely interested in purchasing some fully populated ready to use Nano boards
  2. I just installed the ultrapitch kit from openformat.la in my Numark PT-01 Scratch and it works great but it seems the motor is having trouble getting up to speed when skratching it up now. I noticed a very obvious flutter in speed when releasing the record while doing baby scratches and such, almost like it's trying really hard to jump back to speed upon release. It won't do this when I use a very light touch and it stays consistent while just playing normally, but when I cut it up like I did before the mod it's extremely noticeable. I'll post a video soon if anyone requests, was wondering if anyone else had this issue? Any thoughts?
  3. Ideas on getting a PT-01 Scratch to be able to natively handle DVS? Maybe using the preamp mod going around to hijack the input/output of the pyle preamp and add some RCA inputs/outputs to the turntable to connect to a DVS box then return the signal into the numark to be able to be cut by the fader?
  4. A little makeover last night for my Rodec Scratchbox
  5. Elliot at Innofader modified a small batch of innofader PNP's to hook up to the PT-01 scratch turntable as simple as plug-n-play, only 15 at first but their next gen about to drop is going to have this option as a standard I was able to use a fader plate to mark off a template from the inside where I wanted the fader to rest, cut a slit for the fader stem to push through, and drill holes for the fader to screw into, as well as counter sunk the holes so the screws wouldn't extend out the surface of the turntable. Next up I'll be skinning this via 12inchskinz to cover the original scratch switch hole as well as a heap of other mods that are popular in the portablist scene, as well as a few obscure ones I've been eyeing to do! CoolorCaps on the fader cap, Innofader inside, baby super seal red variant. Follow me on instagram at www.instagram.com/JAM1PHOTO
  6. Amazing stuff! Thank you for sharing this with us. Does this still allow you to control the volume of the source you're playing your Beats from? Also has it still retain the ability to plug in an external Source such as your phone as originally before?
  7. I see a lot of people using their mixfader and real vinyl and I know you still need to connect it through Bluetooth through your device, my question is does it need to be top end iPad style interface? All I see is everyone's videos with them using it on iPhones or iPads, would it be too much for a crappy hundred-dollar Android phone or an Amazon tablet to handle all of that to try to use real vinyl with the mixfader? Would there be any performance issues with the latency when scratching with real vinyl
  8. Thank you very much for this, what did you create your files in? So I can find a homie who knows how to handle this project, thanks!
  9. Would love to order three or four of these please let me know if these bad boys ever come back in rotation
  10. I've got a vestax 06 pro A laying around, as well as my old focus fader, any way to combine these?
  11. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gjPMqrnUmlI A little bit of some randomness, set up a few cameras and just recorded a small practice, pulled a section I enjoyed for some future potential use www.JAM1PHOTO.com
  12. Backtrack Chinmachine P-Nuts Waxdestroyer Dopez TIeNo Fakser Orator3 Fuck that's a hard one to narrow down, everyone was nasty with it
  13. Good point! I thought about this the other day, but then it completely slipped my mind. I would say that FX of the type you mentioned are fine, but using a loop pedal to layer scratches is not allowed. But, I will wait to see if any of the judges have any input on that. Give it 24 hours and if nobody has raised any objections to what I've just said, then it will stand and I'll add it into the first post. Either way, this will be clarified by this time tomorrow. Oh yeah, welcome to the forum man. Thanks for the clarification and thanks for the warm invite, always been a reader but first time post haha
  14. any rules aside the video rules? are FX (delay, flange, etc) ruled out?
