so i have a flash card reader installed and an external zip drive. (i think i may have posted about this a while back, but let me try again). a fuse burned out on the asr and i took it in to get replaced. done, asr works. but now the flash reader is acting funny. at start up it was just say "please insert disk". then i talked to JD at scsi who told me to send it back to him and he'd check it out. he did whatever and said it worked fine. he said it might be scsi cables or something so i sent me a zip drive to try if that worked. it does. the scsi recognizes the zip drive but not the flash. (internal btw). i totally neglected it forever and have been exclusively using my keyboard as a midi for FL. i decided to give the flash another go today and DL'd translator. i downloaded the OS which is in .eda form. i formatted the flash, which in the middle of formatting i get a message saying "not enough space available on this ensoniq volume" the message only shows up when i select the the OS during the formatting process, which of course i need the OS added. bottom line i guess does anyone know what i'm doing wrong? the OS size is 1.54 mb and the flash card is 2gb. i'm super confused. any suggestions/help is greatly appreciated. thanks
