I was setup like this so we could walk around with cameras, and also so that people could see each other. This whole in a line thing just doesn't work for me - people are disconnected.

It's fair to say that went quite well.

I've always done registrations manually. The Invision spam features almost always autoban the spammers, and maybe get 2 genuine new members per year who write to say they can't get in.

Candy crush is digital crack. It rendered me into a zombie in 24 hours. I got rid of it and haven't been back since.

Back in the day when System 7 was king, Audion from Panic was the nuts on the Mac. Absolutely loved the skins and the features. It was retired years ago now, but Winamp did also make a brief appearance on Mac though.

Interesting stat - there will be more turntables in my studio that there were in the whole of the BPM show. Probably.

I'm sorted for mixers: Rodec Scratchbox Pioneer DJM-T1 Traktor Kontrol Z2 Rane Sixty Four Vestax 05 Pro Red Vestax 06 Samurai Vestax 05 Pro IV ...and a Gemini Jazzy Jeff mixer if anyone fancies a go. I've also got a Vestax vinyl cutter but no idea how to use it.

Food will be provided courtesy of the local sandwich van and will be ordered around 1.30ish (think bacon sarnies). Cola and bottled water will be supplied, but if you could bring your own beer and stuff, that would be very helpful. I'll be sending out directions tomorrow. You'll all meeting in a disused warehouse, be hooded and then put on a bus to the secret underground lair.

Just bring anything that you feel you'll need. Your own vinyl, needles and slips are good. I have 2 audio10s and an audio8, a Z2 will be available, but I've only got a single SL1 and SL3. And your laptops.

Every couple of months I open my place up to the unruly scratch masses and I must say that once you get past their unkemp appearance they've all been a lovely bunch of chaps. Clean, tidy and very respectful. Maybe I could relax this rule if this is the case then. If it helps their flow then who am I to stifle creativity?

This is a pre-final bash for the IDA UK and Ireland crew, and already has Woody and Rasp confirmed to attend, with others waiting to confirm. Lots of gear to play with including 4-5 full setups, plus the Rane Sixty Four, Reloop RP8000 turntables and the Numark NS7II amongst others. Free food, drink (non-alcoholic) and DJWORX swag.
