Im seriously considering selling my soundcard and some other stuff to buy this. I had a shot of my friends at weekend and loved it. My only gripe is the faceplate..not only do the graphics come of but the paint also..i can see after couple months scratching there will be a bit dirty rusty spot around fader..i know only asthetic..but deffo something that was overlooked,apparently the faceplates cost ni a fortune...come on guys...lexan layer it.

I have a high spec cpu and use traktor and serato both running a minimum latancey and dont find there is much of a difference.. I prefer serato for scratching..but traktor is way more fun with a midi controller for mixing. i overall do prefer traktor but the convienience of serato in my mixer wins it for me...ideally i would have liked to have traktor teamed up with rane as i love rane mixers..maybe the z1 will be a goodie though.anyone got/used one yet?

What would you call the 2-click orbits that Deeswift used to do, or the many other flare patterns he did with twiddles? i would call them twiddles.if he crabs his Fingers..unless its wrist..its not flare,at least i feel...theres no get out of jail free card on this one!..you cant crab/twiddle your way through delayed boomerang and walking flares..you have to learn the way of the wrist.

yeah but sorry kutclass..timecode mode is useless without backcueing..sync mode is the way..so it syncs to a playing turntable..its pretty shite overall though..i just want traktor to open remix decks so that i can use my maschine with it.

i just use it like i gues what traktor 2.5 and f1 would be used for..my workaround is..if you own ableton lite(that comes with a lot of controllers)or ableton intro you can download live 8 trial..when the 30 days time limit runs out you can still use the program with export and save disabled..but you can still load..so just make your tracks in lite/intro and open them in live 8..i guess this was maybe overlooked..or ableton presuming that if you were trialing you would not own any other copy....either way..im living up to the scottish stereotype..cheap!
