The build of the 360 and 380 are like egg cartons..iv had both..I do love the eternal for cutting thoughIt's not much of a surprise considering how badly the NUO and (especially) EVO stuff tanked, the HAK range being plagued by sub-par effects loops, and literally nothing coming out from them for about five years (don't fact check me), but this is sad. My HAK 360 is on loan to a youngun who wants to learn to scratch at the moment (and the fader was never the same after Jon hung off it like it was a scene from Cliffhanger) but the sound and build quality on it is probably the all time best I've ever seen in a scratch mixer.

rubber tap washers in any fader dampens the noise..i used to do it in my vestax..normal innos in my z2 are quiter than stock mini innos..but both very dampened compared with alps/p and g.

yeah the whole dilla changed my life thing is a bit off a joke..(and jay dilla tribute mixtapes/ hip hop nights),but this seems quite cool.

have you put it into the ableton midi script folder(unless its already in there)..if its not you will need to make sure it is.

i stop breathing properly on scratches i find hard..and i suffer from terrible scratch face.

i had mk1 and sold for mk2..but there is not really much between them..coloured pads would be amazing for the remix deck mapping on mk2..but the pad leds do not match the remix deck colours....so really that was the big draw for me..and it doesnt work.
i would still get a mk2 tho as i see on ebay second hand there is not much between them price wise.

The package is just over £300. Considering you get a mixer that has a £140 fader in it as part of that, I don't see how it's a rip off. It's potentially an absolute bargain as long as the mixer is decent.
Sorry didn't read properly.. Now see that its an inno pro.. But I wouldn't call it an absolute bargain.
Also is a inno pro really £ 140. . I bought another of inno online store for 95 (b stock) u.s.. £ 140 is ridiculous.

so true man..what a wicked scratch battle..i wonder if this comp happens each year,maybe some heavyweight prizes could happen from big sponsers(not that dj tech mixer is not cool).congrats guys, everyone delivered ridiculous cuts, some of the highest levels of cuts for a battle. funny thing is this isnt ida or dmc... its just for the geeks! just goes to show that the underground is where its at!
Be awesome to see some more american heavyweights also like kurteek kodac rayted etc( iq was insane tho).
